Despite their Christmas festivities, celebrities spent the week getting engaged, getting arrested, and getting some shopping done. Here's what went down:
- Mom jean lover Mischa Barton was arrested Thursday on DUI charges and later bailed out by her mother. It remains to be seen whether she'll be hosting a NYE party as scheduled in Las Vegas.
- Britney Spears befriended a paparazzo last weekend, shared Christmas custody of the boys with Kevin and then resumed her wild ways by week's end.
- Despite not wanting to be pregnant in her wedding dress, Jessica Alba announced her engagement to Cash on Thursday and showed off her newly acquired bling on a shopping trip.
- Not to be outdone, Fergie also showed off her diamonds after getting engaged to Josh Duhamel.
- Paris rounded up the rest of the Hilton clan for a holiday trip to Hawaii, where her 18-year-old brother made headlines for a change and the family found out that their inheritance will be smaller than expected, before heading back to LA for a party at Goa.
- After Riley sold his story to a UK tabloid, Lindsay packed her bags for LI to spend time with her family before taking to the skies once again to accept an award honoring her film career in Capri.
