Countdown to the 2007 Oscars!

Beyonce struts her stuff at the premiere of Dreamgirls in Paris. She may have lost the Golden Globe for best actress but so what? The Oscars are what really matter and the nominations are set to be announced by Salma Hayek this Tuesday. So be on the look out for more ballots. We'll have plenty of Oscar news to come.

Let us realize that all of this hate going on for Beyonce is still selling her CD's and putting her more in the spotlight. I am not a big fan of Beyonce, but I will show no hate. I belive it is time for someone else to shine, so I think Jennifer Hudson deserved her award. She was great in the movie and when I went to see it she got a standing ovation when she sang "I Am Telling You". Brown Sugar

i hate the armpit thing. i think people look weird when their skin is darker then their hair. in white people's cases their skin is usually orange and their hair is white-blonde. in beyonce's picture, i think she works it better because her blonde has more depth and some richness.

Thanks Aggie. I just don't know what else this site is for except to say things about stars (which none of us know on a personal level) and to say what we think about them (whether they did something dumb, offensive, funny, helpful, etc) but apparently people pick and choose what's "appropriate" and what's not. I said what I said. I never said I took it back, I just said forget I said it sense "so many people were appauled by it" And I never said they had to agree. I don't agree with half the crap people put on here...whatever. People will always have something to b*tch about.

Ok I'm done. Forget I said anything about black women and blond hair. Apparently I can't say what I want to say b/c too many people find it offensive, when I didn't mean anything offiensive by it. I thought we could say what we wanted, as long as we wern't rude or degrading, and I wasn't but I guess people pick and choose who they will "pick on" or say that they are making "offensive remarks." Just forget I said it...moving on...

I would never say that African American women shouldn't have blond hair!! I just think beyoncé looks better when her hair is slightly darker, and that's really just my opinion about it. I would never want to generalize something like hair color!
