Shocker - The Da Vinci Code won the box office this weekend even with all the terrible reviews it received. The movie made $77 million which is the highest grossing weekend so far in 2006. Da Vinci made over $224 million worldwide which is more impressive since it's the second largest WW opening behind "Star Wars: Episode III." I saw it and enjoyed it but I must admit I was hoping the pace would be a little faster. As expected, studios are already talking about making the prequel.
