This Dad's Response to Magic!'s "Rude" Is Just Too Perfect

If you've been listening to the radio lately, chances are you have the catchy song "Rude" by Magic! stuck in your head, in which case you'll crack up at this funny response to the lyrics. Magic!'s popular song is addressed to a father who doesn't want to marry off his daughter, and the chorus says, "Why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know I'm human too? Why you gotta be so rude? I'm gonna marry her anyway." Well, Benji and Jenna Cowart wrote "The Dad's Side of the Story," sticking to the same music and melody. They sing, "Why you gotta call me rude? I'm doing what a dad should do — keep her from a fool like you." Things take a hilarious turn with the chorus as he adds, "Marry that girl, I'm gonna punch your face.
