Dakota Fanning arrived back home in California at LAX last night. The young star spent a few days in Chicago, where she joined Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Beyoncé Knowles to tape some of Oprah Winfrey's last episodes on Tuesday. Dakota wore a beautiful pastel dress for the star-studded spectacular and kept the high fashion coming in flatform sandals during her trip to the West Coast. It's a busy time for Dakota — she's graduating from high school soon and recently landed a new role opposite Elizabeth Olsen in Very Good Girls, which was written by Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal's mother, Naomi Foner. Dakota hasn't officially announced where she'll attend college in the Fall, but one place she's sure to pop up is opposite Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in November's Breaking Dawn Part I.
