While chatting with press, Dakota talked about her Stella dress, saying, "I picked this dress because I thought I should wear a British designer, since this is a British film and I'm here in London." Based on Jenny Downham's novel Before I Die, Now Is Good features Dakota as a young cancer patient determined to live her life to the fullest. Maggie Gyllenhaal brought her daughters, Ramona and Gloria, to visit her husband, Peter Sarsgaard, yesterday on the NYC set of Very Good Girls. Three-month-old Gloria was nestled against Maggie to check out the action. Maggie and Peter welcomed the little one back in the Spring on April 19.
The film was actually written by Maggie's mom Naomi Foner, who was seen watching a take with almost 6-year-old Ramona on her lap. Peter joined in on shooting with the movie's stars, Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen, who have been hard at work for much of the Summer. Making the film has become a real family effort — even Maggie's brother Jake Gyllenhall has been on the set.

Jake Gyllenhaal swung by the NYC set of Very Good Girls in NYC yesterday to say hi to his mom, the movie's screenwriter Naomi Foner. He was also able to catch a few minutes with the film's stars, Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen. It's been a long week on set for the girls.
