Date Night With Nick and Vanessa

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were spotted somewhere other than the airport for a change. After recently arriving back in LA, they had a romantic date night at Mastro's Steakhouse. The matching outfits with white shirts to show off their tans is cute and all but thankfully Vanessa added some color with her matching red shoes and clutch. As usual, this globe-trotting couple won't be grounded for long. In a few weeks they'll probably be heading to the Super Bowl, perhaps to rub elbows with other celebrity couples like Tom and Gisele or Tony and Jessica which of course could be a bit awkward but very interesting.

Nick needs to work and stop getting in the press for just visiting resturants and passing through the airports. That's all he's famous for now. Nick has got to realize how much life has gone down for him. Nick will never be the same or offered much career wise. So this is just about it for him. Nick might as well lay it all down and give up on trying. Nobody important in the industry is paying Nick much attention these days.

Where are these 2 talentless losers getting all their money? Oh yeah, in the Nick-Jessica divorce. It must be very emasculating to be paid alimony by your ex wife. And the next time Flirt or any other cosmetic company wants to put a D-list celebrity like Vanessa Minnilo in their campaign...well I hear Kevin Federline is available.

Oh lighten up Romes. Don’t be so sensitive about someone that you don’t even know. Jessica couldn’t care less about you. Make your comment and move on. If you hate a certain poster then don’t read their post. That’s what the rest of us ladies do. PinkNC makes good points here and there and you know it to be true. That’s why you’re so mad at her too. And you are so right -BaydollJustina-. You know I really like Nick. And I have seen rebounds last along too. UNTIL after they both say the words “I do”. Then the fairytale is truly over. You’re correct Romes. People are entitled to their own opinion. Actually you said something to me a while back about opinions, and the truth. I will not quote it because you know. You’re being hypocrite just by going against what you said back then verses what you said up there in your statement now. Those two things do not go together. Just like you telling me that I’m immature because you cannot comprehend something, or you’re mad about someone out here in the real world NOT agreeing with you. I don’t need editing. If the truth bothers you then go over it. I know I’m mature enough to do so when I see someone’s long posting and don’t want to read it. But you act as if you cannot go but so far after you've read 5 lines or so. It’s like the correct information starts to fade out on you and you begin to see things as you want to read and understand them. look, go over them if it hurts you. It’s your choice not mine. I didn’t force you to read the facts. You stated, “If you don't have something nice to say, you shouldn't say it.” Fine, then you should not have commented back to me calling names yourself. You stated, "They were the opposite".....Ok, well if it was so bad for 4 years PLUS their marriage time, then Nick should have took the first step in order to gain control over his marriage. Nick’s marriage was only supposed to have one male in it. But he allowed Joe to be their puppeteer. Now what did I see on the DVD-----Well I saw that in the beginning it took not the love that Nick was giving to Jessica that lead her down the aisle of marriage, but instead his image, and money, which she was so graciously taking with a superfluous smile on her face, with no feeling to heart. Jessica’s family and friends had always been puppeteers over Nick’s marriage. And only through them was he allowed affection, attention, and time. Because it was them that had too instruct Jessica on when and where Nick should be so gracious enough to receive it from her....that’s sad in my opinion. And again, Nick catering to Jessica and never to them as a WHOLE, didn’t help the marriage get under control either.

Now that sounds so 15ish. That’s why no adult ever responds to that one. Having the same birthday means nothing. Many people share their birthdays. Do you also believe all the ancient Chinese horoscopes & symbols that you may read somewhere in a Chinese restaurant....when it comes to yourself or these two being ‘so great’ for each other? And Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones are old school and mature when it comes to the way they handle themselves when they want or need publicity. The same day of birth means nothing. They carry themselves COMPLETELY different -- if you want to speak about comparison of them verses Nick & Vanessa. This is what I think. Ok yes, your love should know your favorite foods, song, singer, the best book you ever read, your favorite color, and your best friends throughout your life, even though they’ve never met them but only heard your stories about them. But those are really simple things that your neighbor, brother, or male best friend would know about you anyway. You stated, “they finish each others sentences” So my obvious point is---Stay around anyone long enough and you could probably finish their sentences. You don’t have to be in love with them. All you have to do is listen to them long enough, or just remember what sentences they are repeating from a previous conversation anyway. But I guess that’s a cute thing to say in a...teenage sort of way... ok. Anywho, that’s also why I said waaaay back in the day, that I believed that Nick really needed to be careful this time around too. It’s truly easy for an experienced female charlatan that’s wants you for all the wrong reasons in the end. Nick’s too talented and has too much waiting in the future for him, to be tied down to someone like that.

I think the key to Nick and Vanessa's relationship is that they have the same birthday They say that they finish each other's sentences. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones also share the same birthday. Plus the fact that they share the same interests, whereas Nick and Jessica were opposites.

No, I will NEVER be a Jessica fan. You know if you can always bring up how Jessica was soooo spoiled during her marriage, then I can as well bring up one other person that was at fault too. I understand that you like Nick a lot. But Nick was not perfect. Fact is fact. Nick catered to Jessica and gave his marriage no limits. He got used and now he doesn’t have one. Nick couldn’t see past certain things...obviously. And if Nick saw things for what they truly were then why wasn’t he the one filing for divorce first or getting marriage counseling on the down low? I think we all know the answer to that one. But no shame in it now, or at least there shouldn’t be. Not everyone can have a clue 100% of the time. Especially if they’re blinded by love seconds before the final sucker punch of “Nick, I don’t want you or this marriage anymore...it has run its course enough”. And when I stated, “giving your wife limits” I was speaking on the OTHER “limits” that is also apart of the basic grounding that every relationship should have from the beginning. It has to do with what you will and will NOT tolerate physically, mentally, financially, and family wise. Nick didn’t look like he put his foot down on much of any of that, especially the financial & family part. Nobody every bucked up and said NO! to Papa Joe or his daughter. No matter how much they financially took or verbally abused Nick in front of the world. Jessica pouted & Nick would cater 2 her. Nick added to her spoiled actions too. Again, you misunderstand the obvious. Fact***Sometimes it takes more than one sucker punch for some people to get a real clue....oh well. It’s not about who can find love the fastest. It’s who can have the most genuine spouse in the end. That is if you want to immaturely compete. And you’re right it when it comes to the word “Archaic”. A lot of things are old, and should be let go but they are clearly not by 100%. I’m sure we understand each other. :) I’m not going with the young flow and state that Nick is perfect & so faithful because he physically looks good to me. I’m too wise & old to be a follower. Now don’t answer to the truth if you can’t handle the truth any further.

Charity is charity to a degree. No one is knocking that one…slow your roll, again. You misunderstood, again. You do that a lot. My words “unneeded vacationing & etc…” did NOT include that charity event. BEFORE that, I stated “along with what he’s doing now (charity).” …..It meant Nick could be doing charity and more at the same time, if he would allow it to happen that way. Now, that’s more elementary for you. I hope you truly got it. And no, Nick hasn’t said anything negative about his marriage or divorce, in front of a CAMERA.

I find it kind of amusing that this one is totally different from Jessica. In looks, in demeanor, in style, everything. Some people, after a breakup, go for the same type over and over (look at John Derek and all of his cookie-cutter blonde wives, just as one example), but Nick went for polar opposite.

Nick is doing the charity event for a school in Cincinnati for free with his Team Lachey Choir, not for publicity. He was asked to participate in the concert along with other musicians. Nick always takes the high road, he hasn't said anything negative about his marriage or divorce. The divorce was June, 2006. What's with "giving your wife limits"? Sounds pretty archaic. What happened to trust? But obviously, Jessica couldn't be trusted.

AFRICAN based charity....yeah I know one African American headed straight to Cali on Sunday that would love to say a literal 2 sentences to him. That’s not really all the work that Nick could be doing. But it is something to be noticed until his CD comes out, IF it ever does. By the way, is there a release date? Is Nick through yet? Nick needs to acquire more genuine offers that get him more noticed along with what he’s doing now (charity). Now excuse my attitude this evening but traveling & etc for days has made me bitchy, so I don’t mean to offend any genuine fans out there in Popsugar land. But I feel that Nick needs to get his head out of his as* and except the offers that gain him more recognition. Too many unneeded vacationing and etc... is hurting him career wise. I say forget hunting down what Jessica’s doing. Who cares what and who Jessica is ‘doing’ now a days anyway? If you DO care then it means one of two things.....hate, or love for Jessica. :) Hey, just my wordy opinion tonight friends.

And why do the same ones love to make it sound as if Jessica controlled how Nick responded to her during their marriage. Nick was the oldest. Nick is a grown man that allowed a lot of events to take place in and out of his household. Nick always had the option of saying that simple ONE word.....NO! But Nick continued to spoil her until Jessica got rid of him and moved on. Then Nick got hurt, embarrassed, mad, then sang about it, and now it’s the bitter reaction. In short, they are both at fault for a lot of things. Neither one is any more perfect at marriage than the other. Nick would NOT give his wife limits like every good adult marriage should have even before the beginning....so in the end came divorce. They both needed to grow up in certain areas. And still to this date I think they both still have too. Nick should have gotten the big hint that it WASN’T forever when Jessica didn’t simply take his last name, like she should have. And yes I’m sure Nick probably did see Jessica and Tony’s posting. And he probably had something negative to say. Which makes me wonder how Nick would truly feel if he ran into Jessica over the weekend. And what may hit him even deeper if they ran into each other while alone, meaning they just bump into each other during half time or some other place while being alone in the city.
