David Beckham Debuts Anti-Malaria PSA

Just when we thought we couldn't get any more excited to see all the stars at tonight's Idol Gives Back event, here's some Beckham icing for the cake. This PSA for Malaria No More is scheduled to premiere during tonight's Idol bonanza, but we got a sneak peek at his gorgeous do-gooding ways. As of tomorrow the PSA will be available on the Malaria No More website. The campaign urges people to donate just $10 to provide a family with a mosquito net. I've said it once, I've said it a million times: there's nothing hotter than lending your fame to worthy causes. Of course, his being so handsome doesn't hurt.

I think that's very reasonable! We hear all the time about how there are causes that we've all be aware of but this one is another good one I think. Plus, It's Beck!

Perhaps anti-malaria isn't the right term. Is there anyone that's pro-malaria? But definitely a worthwhile cause--my college roommate got a mean case of it after a trip to Africa.

What a great guy. Not a sexy cause, but a very important one - so it seems obvious to me that he cares to do something that matters and doesn't care how it makes him look.

I went to Africa last summer and unfortunately contracted malaria while I was there. It was terrible! I was so sick for many days AND I had access to the best medical care around. It would be horrible to be a child with a weak immune system and no access to healthcare and have to suffer through that disease. Yea for Becks!
