David Beckham Driving Olympic Torch Boat at Opening Ceremony

David Beckham steered the speedboat carrying the Olympic torch into the opening ceremony this evening in London. David had mentioned that he was "nervous" for his role in the exciting event, and indeed he did have a big job on his hands! David looked dapper as he captained the boat, named Max Power, and guided it under the Tower Bridge. Kate Middleton and Prince William are at the opening ceremonies after hosting an event for Michelle Obama and other world leaders earlier in the day. David's wife, Victoria Beckham, is expected to play her own part in the exciting games: The Spice Girls are reportedly reuniting to perform at the closing ceremony.
