David contributed a key assist that led to one of the team's goals, but the soccer star won't be showing off his fancy footwork during the Summer Olympics. Beckham didn't make the cut for England's 2012 soccer squad, though apparently he will be in London for Friday's opening ceremonies. David played a crucial part in winning the Olympic bid for his home country, and he's reportedly being rewarded with a surprise "thank you" role in the epic celebration.
