Kristen Stewart was smiley and happy as she stepped out in a colorful Peter Pilotto dress to chat with Jay Leno for The Tonight Show in LA on Monday evening. Kristen spoke to Jay about the final Twilight movies, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2, saying, "Popped one out — pretty concerned with that. Me and Edward are doing quite well; people keep trying to kill my baby. But I'm now superspectacular, so I can take care of that, being a vampire." Kristen also touched on Breaking Dawn Part 2's twist ending: "Every time I see it or even think about it, I get giddy. It freaks me out. . . . It's easy to skim over. But you can find the root of our little twist [in the book]." Kristen switched gears from her blockbuster franchise to promote her indie project On the Road over the weekend. Kristen premiered On the Road at the AFI Festival in LA on Saturday, and she was joined by boyfriend Robert Pattinson at that afterparty. While Kristen was chatting with Jay, Rob was elsewhere in town making his own appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show.

It was a star-studded red carpet at last night's premiere of Hit and Run at Regal Cinemas in downtown LA. Dax Shepard, who wrote and directed the film, arrived in style with his leading lady, and fiancée, Kristen Bell, by his side. Kristen rocked a black satin jumpsuit, while Bradley Cooper sported a sexy leather jacket. The stars all took time to sign autographs for fans who were lining the streets before joining castmates Jason Bateman, Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Arnold, Ryan Hansen, and Joy Bryant for group photos. It looked like they had a great time filming since their red carpet reunion was filled with plenty of laughter. We asked the stars how Dax stacked up as a director and Ryan jokingly rated him an 8.5, saying, "He's got some work to do," while Bradley simply said, "He's awesome; he's incredible." Bradley also mentioned he'd love to try his hand at directing soon, too.

Kristen Bell wore Vanessa Bruno last night to join her fiancé, Dax Shepard, for a GenArt screening of their movie, Hit and Run, at LA's Downtown Independent Theater. The real-life couple worked on the comedy together, along with costars Joy Bryant, Tom Arnold, and Bradley Cooper. Bradley wasn't able to join Kristen, Dax, Tom, and Joy for the question-and-answer session last night, though.

Kristen and Dax are taking their promotional show on the road before its Aug. 24 release. They're going to Michigan's Traverse City Film Festival to show off the movie in early August. The location couldn't be better for a screening, since Traverse City is not far from their mutual hometown of Detroit. The picture's release comes after a big year for Kristen, who starred in the Showtime series House of Lies — find out where she ranked in the 2012 PopSugar 100!

See Bradley Cooper in Dreadlocks in the Hit and Run Trailer

The upcoming flick Hit & Run not only stars real-life couple Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, but apparently it was inspired by their relationship.

The upcoming flick Hit & Run not only stars real-life couple Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, but apparently it was inspired by their relationship. Let's hope they're talking about their dynamic chemistry and not the fact that Shepard plays a bank robber in the movie. The trailer for the comedy starts with the happy couple enjoying their morning together, then quickly gets serious(ish) when a dread-locked thug played by Bradley Cooper shows up at the door with some gangsters and a golf club. Turns out Charlie (Shepard) hasn't been completely candid with his sweetheart about his past as a thief, or the fact that he's in the Witness Protection Program.

I'm fairly intrigued by this trailer, mostly because Shepard and Bell are so cute in real life and it seems to translate well to the big screen. It's also refreshing to see Cooper doing comedy without being his typical Hangover-style douchey characters. The movie comes out on August 22, but check out the trailer when you read more
