The singer revealed that she believes in both aliens and mermaids and has a deep interest in conspiracy theories. "How self-centered would we be as humans to believe that we are the only living things in the universe?" Demi said on aliens. Stranger still was Demi's obsession with mermaids, which she claims are actually alien species that are in undiscovered areas of our planet's oceans.
