Anne Hathaway and Denzel Washington kicked off their duties as the hosts of tomorrow's Nobel Concert in Oslo, Norway, today by attending a ceremony to honor this year's Peace Prize winner, Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo. Anne made the trip to Europe following a few days in Sydney promoting Love and Other Drugs at a photo call and red carpet premiere with Jake Gyllenhaal. This weekend's events will give the actress a chance to hone her onstage skills before February, when she'll join James Franco to emcee the Oscars.

Full disclosure: I went into Unstoppable expecting to be bored. How could a film about a train possibly keep me entertained for more than twenty minutes? But the movie is like watching a car chase on TV (and I mean that in the best possible way). There's not a ton of plot (it really is just a runaway train), and it doesn't dwell on character development — but you'll still get sucked into the nonstop action.

Chris Pine stars as Will, a railroad newbie assigned to work under the watch of veteran engineer Frank (Denzel Washington). It's their first day on the job together, and a challenging one at that. The fiasco begins when two dim-witted railroad employees working at a local outpost accidentally let one of the cargo-carrying locomotives get away from them. David Beckham joined his usual basketball buddy last night to watch as the Lakers beat the Rockets 112-110 during their home opener. Sharing the courtside luxury were Leonardo DiCaprio and Denzel Washington after his Unstoppable premiere. David was back at the Staples Center after bringing his sons to see a Justin Bieber concert there on Monday. Justin was likewise out again, sitting next to his friend Jaden Smith. Later today, David will be on the small screen when his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs. Becks spoke to Ellen about his plans to stay in LA for the duration of his Galaxy contract and Victoria came to weigh in on David's home making skills. Posh joked with David about his alleged cleanliness, saying, "He always says that he is tidy, but you're not actually that tidy — are you David?" David then replied, "We're going to have our first argument in 11 years!" David's on an interview roll, and today he opened up to Ryan Seacrest about his boys getting older, showing his underwear on the soccer field last weekend, and his fondness for briefs. David said:

• On changing his shorts on the field: "We're not meant to, but I'd cut my finger at the start of the game and I kept wiping it on my shorts. The rules are that if you have any blood on your shirt or your shorts you have to change them, and since I had it all over my shorts I had to change them . . . to be honest the crowd was pretty quiet, so why not excite them a little bit?"
• On wearing tighty whiteys: "Yes, I do . . . they're comfortable!"
• On having "the talk" with Brooklyn: "We've had it with Brooklyn . . . it was more Victoria than me. I had to walk out of the room, because Brooklyn was looking out of the corner of his eye, like laughing, and I'm going, I need to get out of here because it's a serious talk!"

Ryan Reynolds continues to get hearts racing: the actor is reportedly the top pick to take on a role in the upcoming thriller Safe House. The script follows an agent (Reynolds) who is the sole survivor in an attack on a CIA safe house. As the last man standing, he's left with the task of bringing a dangerous prisoner (Denzel Washington) to a second shelter — as long as they can ward off men who want both their heads. There's been a long list of actors also up for Reynolds's part, including Zac Efron, James McAvoy, and Shia LaBeouf. No offense to Efron, but sounds to me like they're going with the right guy.

If you're a So You Think You Can Dance fan, you may have once or twice pondered what, exactly, a "hot tamale train" is. Well, I think I've found the answer. In Unstoppable, Denzel Washington is a veteran train conductor paired with newbie Chris Pine (of Star Trek), as they find themselves driving a train that will. not. stop. It's also loaded with hazardous chemicals, and the intense danger threat of this movie is high (there are kids on that train!). However, I'm not sure if this trailer has me excited for this particular movie, or just makes me want to Netflix Speed. Watch it and decide if you can take it when you read more
