Did Anderson Cooper Go Too Far?

While standing in for Regis on Live with Regis and Kelly on Tuesday, Anderson Cooper went on a rant about Living Lohan. In addition to ripping on the show as a whole, he refers to the Lohan family as "horrific people" and says Ali looks like a 60-year-old. Both Dina and Michael have already spoken out against him, but watch the clip below and tell us — do you think Anderson went too far?

The age comment was rude. Even though she asked for the attention, she's just a kid. Not sure she would be that way if she had more supportive, normal parents.

The only thing I agree with is that it's a very painful thing for a teenage girl to hear since they already have body issues and image issues. BUT, the person to blame here isn't AC, it's DINA. She really ought to know better at this point! I know that Ali has said she "Wants to be a star just like my sister!" but her Mom, having watched the hell that was Lindsay's childhood, should have stepped in and said "Well, then we're going to do this differently." Period! You put a reality show out there, you get what you deserve. Britney took a ton of flack for hers, Jessica for hers, and Denise Richards for hers. NONE of them have a right to complain if people pass judgement and give opinions, because THEY PUT IT OUT THERE. I've heard some horrible comments made about Sam and Lola from Denise's show too, and while it's horrible, Denise can NOT complain. She did that to herself.

anderson is right! the lohans creep me out with their fame whoring. and ali lohan, much as i feel for her, could look so much younger/fresher if she wore normal teen clothes from macy's instead of designer whore-wear and wiped off a couple of layers of makeup. plus, i love anderson so he can do no wrong.

Well a teenager is easily persuaded. And I don't think Anderson Cooper pushed Ali's look. That's nothing but the fault of her own mother. I think it's trashy even if she looks good. She has plenty of time for that. Grow old Gracefully not slutty. Freedom of speech on Cooper's part.

I think that Ali looks old because she wears too much make-up, but that Anderson shouldn't take shots at a girl her age. Living Lohan is not all bad. The family is clearly very close. I love how much Cody looks up to his older brother and how the siblings treat one another. They learned those values from somewhere. On the other hand, I don't think Dina should allow (enable? push?) another of her children to go into the business. When Ali's 18, she can do what she wants but for now she should just be a normal kid.

Jude C's boo can do no wrong :) come on he was hysterical and besides as many have you have posted --- if you let the cameras in for a "reality show" expect the craptastic when the cameras do not want to go home just because you're done "altering" reality.
