Do You Believe Amy's Story?

This week Amy Winehouse was summoned to appear for a February 29th court date in Norway regarding October marijuana possession charges. At the time, Amy said the drugs belonged to her hairdresser, but still signed a document accepting the fine. Now that she has to explain herself, she's saying that she was tricked into signing something in a language she couldn't read and that the incident has "damaged her career." So what do you think — do you believe Amy's story?

The pot was probably her's, yes; should she have signed the document if she didnt know what it was saying, no; Did she have a choice in signing it? Is it kind of like signing a traffic ticket where you either sign it or face the consequences?... who knows. All I know is if her career is ruined from a stupid marijuana possesion charge then that's pretty sad, since people still follow around people like Blohan.

i take that back. but seriously, don't diss amy. she's a great singer, and she has an amazing talent! but for what she's done to herself she can't say it wasn't her fault. i feel so sad for her :(such talent xxx

When I see the pictures and hear/read the stories of her exploits, it makes me so sad. She seems so lost in the world and in her own life. Personally, I find it frustrating to watch her falling to peices and I find it disturbing that her literal self-destruction is being so morbidly marketed. I've been hoping for a while that she'd seek help. I heard a while ago that she was planning on going to rehab in Isreal after the holidays...allowing her one last "harrah" before rehab.a The idea seemed/seems quite dangerous to me. We've only known of her as a seemingly very talented - very troubled - girl. I hope we can get to hear how well she an sing when she is at a healthier point in her life.

I don't believe Amy when she says she didn't understand what she was signing. Legally, the Norwegian police should have had an interpreter there for her, if the document wasn't in English, and if they didn't they would be setting themselves up for a whole bunch of legal trouble. And who is stupid enough, even on drugs, to sign something they don't understand.
