In this issue, she talks about how she's low maintenance, doesn't wear a lot of makeup, and doesn't even own a brush. She also talks about how she doesn't understand why she's considered a sex symbol in Hollywood. Alba has never been shy about discussing why she hates being labeled as sexy, but we want to know — are you buying her story?

Wow I guess alot of people dont like her. My husband doesnt find her so attractive either. Thats weird cause I find her beauty so natural. I dont brush my hair either. I either curl or straigten it but I never need a brush so I find her statement true. For the latina thing I understand her and can relate too. My grandparents didnt speak spanish to my mom either cause they wanted her to grow up american and alot of hispanics are like that too. I grew up in a family that didnt go by typical mexican traditions. Most mexicans I speak too say that I am NOT mexican or mexican american.So what the hell am I then? You will be surprise how mexicans are with hispanics that are like Jessica Alba. I personally dont understand the whole difference between hispanics or latina or mexican. So I just say I am american most people think I look phiipine anyways. I dont turn my back on my race I just never bring it up. So dont call me latina alba has a right I mean you dont here people calling Jessica Simpson white all the time. I personally hate when they start bringing race into anything.I like Jessica Alba and can completely relate

I have to say I agree with pretty much everyone else. I used to like her until she started opening her mouth and going on and on about how she doesn't want to be seen as sexy or a sex symbol, yet most of her roles involve her body being on display in one form or another. And as for her being Latina, yeah right, I don't think so. I can't believe they put her on the cover of the magazine. She should stick to her fluff movies and stop talking. She's seriously beyond annoying at this point.

jessica alba is REALLY starting to annoy me. she is so stuck up and obsessed with herself. a while back i read a comment of hers that said she didn't want to be thought of as a latina and that she considered herself white because her grandfather tried to give her and her family a 'white' life (which doesn't make any sense to me...there's no such thing as a 'white' life, 'black' life, 'asian' life....it's just poor/rich...bad/good) and she's always talking badly about eva mendes. i really think she does have good style...but she is just annoying the heck out of me. and i can't stand her anymore. of course she owns a brush. please. she has to. and maybe she doesn't wear a lot of makeup out and about, but it's not like she's the only girl who doesn't.

Listen, I saw her in Park City and can vouch for her claims that she doesn't wear make-up or own a brush. Girl's hair looked like a nasty mess. She was still beautiful without make-up though, darn it!

ok this is going to be long because i really hate this woman, first of all why the hell is she on the cover of a latina magazine? hello! she has repeatedly said she doesn't consider herself one. that alone really pisses me off, has she ever seen a mirror? and if she wants to be taken seriously then don't bloody pose in scantly outfits for men magazines!! i hate her, can she please just go away?

I feel sorry for her, trying to backpedal now and claim her latin heritage. Sorry Jess, its a little too late for that. I know she's young and EVERYONE makes mistakes, but like a previous poster said, whenever she talks about her mexican side, its alway they're fat and spreading their seed around popping out babies. I'm not latina, but it really bothers me to see her repeating sterotypes about her own people.

only bald men don't own brushes! i so used to love j.albs being multi racial i love seeing actresses like her, hallie, shakira, kelly hu because beauty comes in all shades but man she sounds like an mfn moron. i also can't stand kh she is ugly and a terrible actress who got lucky, before grey's she was doing crap parts and knock up was made great bcuz of seth rogen and crew, paul rudd and leslie mann. sorry to hate but she irks me...j.albs is too now.
