Do You Prefer Beyonce As A Singer Or An Actress?

Beyonce took a break from her world tour to make a pit stop at the Cannes Film Festival with Jay-Z. We know he likes to stick to the music (have you heard the latest remix of Rehab with Amy Winehouse featuring Jay?!?!) but B has been dividing her time between music and film in the past few years. She spent a long time working on Dreamgirls, but now she's back on stage. She's gotten a lot of positive feedback in both industries, but we want to know - do you prefer Beyonce as a singer or as an actress?

Oh wow I didn't know beyonce had so much haters. There sure is a lot of people who have no rregard with peoples feelings or work effects. She's amazing a both her acting in Dream Girls and Cadilac records were amazing, and she's an awesome singer.

Jennifer Hudson did totally sing her under the table. But I think that she should stick to singing. Who wants to bet that soon the Knowles family will be the next stars of their own reality show?

I would say both, she is already a talented great singer and performer and her acting is not bad either. Most actors/actresses grow with time and she's only just starting out. Haters give her a break.

Come On, 65% neither? I have to give it to her she is a great singer a decent performer in the pop field. It makes me wonder what what crappy music does that 65% listen to (but, I'm all in about her bad acting gigs. Dreamgirls was her best yet.). -LW

I haven't seen a lot of Beyonce's acting but it seems the movies she's in, she plays the "singer" anyway. So I'm voting for Singer.

I haven't seen the Dreamgirls but only her first movie but still, she's got such a mighty voice that she could stay in the singing department.

Singer. I don't think she's the greatest singer ever, but she's good. Acting is weak, but maybe she'll get better. After all it's just pretending. As far as overexposure she's not the only one. Hollywood is overexposed city. Fifty million mags/tabloids and tv shows covering the same 10-15 people. The same people make the same covers over and over and over. Do they ever get a break from posing.? These people do more posing in one week than working models do in a year; mind you posing is the models' job. Every little events or parties has to have a carpet so they can pose and make a spectacle of themselves. I remember when red carpet was for major award shows.
