Spencer Pratt made an appearance on The Late Show Friday night, and David Letterman had no problem cutting right to the chase, asking Spencer about his job, Heidi, and acting like a "dope" on The Hills. Spencer has made it clear that he's proud of his villain status, but we wonder how much of it is a joke. Watch the clip below and tell us — do you think Spencer takes himself seriously?

I saw the intervies and I actually enjoyed David in action, Spencer is just about being noticed he does not care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to make it. The sad thing is that in Hollywood you are only there a brief moment and then someone else will come along and then it will be Spencer who.

Why was he interviewed??? He's not doing anything yet he gets all these photo ops and interviews. His scenes on the hills are all about him sitting in Stephanie's couch or partying. He's a bum.

i think that he thought he was in control of the way he was playing the public, but from this vid, he ain't as clever as he thinks cos dave just schooled him! He basically said you're a d*ck and not worth the supposed $100000 that he "won't get out of the house for" :oy:

If he is, he is doing a great job at it. I guess that is the only way he could excel at: being a douche. It would be depressing knowing that you are famous just bc of all the garbage he does and shines for. The guy is a total scammer!

he doesn't care what ppl think of him as long as they are thinking of him, good or bad. I think he knows what a douche he is portrayed as but I don't think that is real like spencer. I think he is playing a game with the viewers just to make a name for himself.

From all late shows David Letterman IS THE MAN! Rude? Only to smart a-- people! Conan is so annoying to look at... OMG! Hegives me the creeps. Jay is ok but bugs me that he tries so hard... Craig Ferguson is worth while to stay up to watch... and Kimmel is just average. LETTERMAN IS THE MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN DUDE! ha ha ha

I don't find Dave Ltterman funny in the least. He is downright rude to people. I don't care about Spencer Whoever, but Dave thinks he's soo witty and funny and he continually comes off looking like a smartass. Jay Leno and Conan are much funnier and they don't have to be rude.
