Do You Think Taylor Swift Will Sweep at the Grammys?

Taylor Swift has been busy with non-musical endeavors like red carpet events and rumored evenings with John Mayer, but she'll be back doing what she does best with a performance at tonight's Grammy Awards.

She's also nominated in eight different categories, including Best Country Album, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Taylor has already shattered plenty of records over the last six months, including having the most first-week downloads ever and becoming the youngest person to ever receive the Entertainer of the Year Award at the Country Music Awards. She's still apparently nervous for the Grammys, but tell us what you think — will Taylor Swift sweep the show tomorrow?

She already won for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Everyone else in that category is vocally superior to her. Obviously, she's not winning these awards for her talent. So I absolutely believe she'll sweep the Grammys just because she's Taylor Swift.

I hope not. I think she's incredibly overrated and has been given too much credit for her singing/songwriting abilities. I do not get Taylor Swift. I don't understand what is so fascinating about her. I don't think she's that great. But she does have a genius marketing team. I can handle her winning awards that revolve around her songwriting. While I think her songs are overrated, writing seems to be her strength so that's fine. I don't, however, think she deserves to win anything with the word vocal in the title. She is a weak vocalist. There are so many more deserving singers, who can actually sing, that deserve to win over her. But the fact that she got a nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance over Kelly Clarkson is proof that vocals really don't count for anything. Ever since the VMAs, pretty much every award show has been a sweep for her. So she'll probably undeservedly win everything she's nominated for again.

Taylor will sweep the country categories but I can't imagine winning album, single, song categories. I think she does fun music and the Grammys usually goes with more serious music for those categories. I think the last couple of years Herbie Hancock and Alison Krauss with Robert Plant swept those awards. That's why Kings of Leon will probably win those categories. I think Gaga and Beyonce are favorites for Album. Dave Matthews may win because the surprise is usually in Album.

Oh, Lord. She's not a Disney star. Couldn't be further from that. But dating Joe Jonas as thereby becoming friends with others in that group, has to be the worst mistake she's made. Because she will forever be lumped in with those people, it seems.

I think she's going to win some categories but I really doubt she'll sweep.

Country categories, sure. But, at the end of the day, she's a tween singer and nothing more. I would be ashamed to see the same body that recognized Herbie Hancock's work recognize the work of a glorified Disney star.

I like her and all, but I don't know what's so big deal about her. she's just another pop star. it's not like she's got a great vocal ability or an entertainment value.

I don't think she deserves win. Every award show she is nominated for she wins everything. To me whats the point in watching then. I'm sick of seeing her and hearing her music.

I like her music, but I don't think it warrants all the awards she's up for. I think she deserves country album of the year, maybe single of the year, but that's about it. None of this, "Artist of the Year," "Best Album of the Year," etc. Give those to other people.

Shes inspiring when it comes to song writing, but not that great live as a singer ( must really fix her voice on radio/cd). All in all, I like her, so I wish her the best!

@oliveoyle625 She isn't a great vocalist. But she's a great songwriter and musician. And I think she's going to be around a long, long time. Her songwriting is only going to get better the older she gets. Don't forget, the songs that are out now are ones she wrote a few years ago when she was 16-17 years old.

I think she has a good chance. She is a very talented girl, she has a lot of charisma the public loves her. So I do think that she has a big chance of wining.

And lose for Song & Record of the Year. I would be SO ecstatic if 'Use Somebody' won in those categories. But it'll probably be Lady GaGa or 'Single Ladies'. Bleh. Am I the only one that HATES that song?

I don't know what all the hype around her is all about. I think she is cute and she has some catchy songs and all, but not sure she is a strong vocalist. I heard her sing live once for an award show and it wasn't that great. I don't understand, but she'll probably win given the way that all of the awards have gone to her so far.
