Does LC Deserve to Be No. 1 on Fashion's New Power Posse?

Radar magazine rolled out a list of who they think makes up fashion's new "power posse." Lauren Conrad scored the top spot, followed by the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, and Anna Wintour. LC definitely stands out on that list of fashion icons, so tell us — does she deserve to be No. 1 in the new fashion power posse?

You've got to be kidding. Her dresses don't look like anything spectacular.. that takes more than ordinary. They actually look very plain and less inspiring than Lux. Also, I have never seen her fashion style to be exciting.. it's plain and never anything new.. just what other people do with no special take.

I think she deserves a spot on the list (maybe not #1, but still). She has made fashion accessible to a whole new audience and for that she should get credit. Either way, I would kill for her wardrobe!

wtf? no. her only major accomplishment to date has been starring in the hills. the fact that she makes enough from that deal to afford $2 mil houses in L.A. is already a little much to swallow, considering her job only consists of partying and fake working. her designs were cookie cutter copies of whatever every other girl in L.A. wears...let's not inflate her head anymore by ranking her with marc jacobs or anna wintour. i mean please, if i were them, i would be totally offended.

This is why I don't read American Fashion Magazines. They tend to endorse girls like these that have no style. Her style is generic. A style Icon is someone for example like Carine Rothfield. How can she be above Marc Jacobs are you kidding me.
