ESPY Roundup

Lance was the host and the winner of Male Athlete of the Year at the ESPY Awards last night. The show doesn't air until Sunday but you can find out the winners here.

The ESPY threesome helped Lance create new material for his hosting gig last night. On the red carpet it gave reporters plenty to ask about as well. ET asked Matt about his recent split with Penelope and he said, "Well, break-ups suck, so that sucked, the breaking up,... But we did it for good and true reasons, and being a single man, I'm working a lot now." They also asked Lance about his split from Sheryl and he responded with, "Things are cool, I mean, we keep in touch primarily through e-mail, all I need to know is that she's healthy, she's happy, she's doing stuff that makes her happy, which is touring ... " No one reports on what Jake was asked.

I actually think Mariah looks good. I dont like the color, but she has slimmed down. I dont see her looking heavy, but I guess my standards are different then most people on here. Brandy to me, has gone completelt downhill

its called acting...that is why he was ok kissing a guy. didnt you realize there was another guy who was kissing back. i loved the movie but this isnt about the movie so...the girls looked ok but the boys looked great. i love me a dressed up man!

OMG! Sorry gals but theres def somethin' up with Jake and it ain't his hand! It freaked me out in Brokeback the way he was that comfortable kissing a guy. I just hope im wrong! Dont think so tho! Mariah prolly wore that dress just incase the electricity went out they could use her dress for lighting.

Mariah looks like a blow up doll... not that i'd be familiar with them. Has to make you wonder when a woman only wears lycra and pin heels. Does she own the mandatory white t-shirt and jeans? Or wasn't she handed them at birth like the rest of us...

i think designers everywhere should make clothes for her and have her hair and makeup done. she COULD look nice. she used to look nice a few years ago when people with taste dressed her. i just want to see loads of dresses from ralph lauren, dolce & gabbana, diane von furstenberg, chanel, etc. made for HER body (not stuffing her into the size 2 sample size). she's such a great singer, but her trashiness just takes away from it.

I didn't know who most of these women were, but Mariah is more covered up than usual and MM and Jakey-G look almost in love. Carmen Electra looked better with darker hair, blonde makes her blend in too much.

Isn't it ironic that North American culture is the one that is most obsessed with staying thin and equates skinniness with attractiveness yet is North America has the highest rates of obesity in the world (or one of the highest anyway). Not too sure what my point is but I just notice that and find it odd now that I'm living in New Zealand and everyone here eats really rich, fatty foods yet you don't see nearly as many obese people. Ok, so to say something about the pictures - Love the colour of Mariah Carey's dress, just not the style. Carmen Electra is so gorgeous and the colour of her dress is stunning.

I agree, celebrities (women mostly) can't win. I don't feel sorry for them in terms of the perks they get and having whatever they need at their disposal (personal trainers, dieticians, etc) but it's gotta be rough knowing that you are being scrutinized all of the time. Every woman fluctuates, weight-wise, and I think the reason why so many of them get so skinny is to kind of balance that fluctuation. What I mean is they think that if they get skinnier, which in most cases means below normal weight, when/if they gain a few pounds - water weight, that time of the month, etc - it won't make them look "fat" (not that a few pounds makes anyone look fat but if there's even a hint of a belly we all know what happens).

I mean not for anything if you look at teh pix of her with Lance and the side view of Janet - they look to be about the same thickness. But everyon eis raving about how much weight Janet lost an dhow goo dshe looks. I juts think Mariah can't catch a break from a lot of people.
