The Golden Globes Red Carpet Is Full of Sexy Silhouettes and Gorgeous Gowns

The red carpet at tonight's Golden Globe Awards in LA was packed with lovely ladies.

The red carpet at tonight's Golden Globe Awards in LA was packed with lovely ladies. Whether they went neutral, stood out in color, or stayed safe with black, they all made a statement before the show. Best actress nominee Michelle Williams chose a playful Valentino and Glee's Dianna Agron went with a strapless nude J. Mendel and simple makeup. Anne Hathaway was a standout in a structured Armani gown while Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson both chose sparkly dresses for the big event. Leighton Meester rounded out the night's sandblasted hue trend in a ruched Burberry.

Things took a turn for the bright when Mad Men's January Jones and Christina Hendricks made their entrance in daring red dresses. Lea Michele and winner Claire Danes followed suit in shades of pink while Emma Stone was radiant in a peach Calvin Klein sheath that landed her among the night's best dressed women. Mom-to-be Natalie Portman showed off her strapless Viktor and Rolf when she took the stage to accept the award for best actress.

Angelina Jolie led the group of gals who wore green in a sequined Versace and had the night's hottest accessory, Brad Pitt, on her arm. Black Swan nominee Mila Kunis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Elisabeth Moss all followed suit in similarly hued gowns while The Fighter's Amy Adams separated herself from the pack in navy blue. Best supporting actress winner Jane Lynch wore a black halter for her walk down the red carpet and Halle Berry rounded out the gorgeous ladies in a daring Nina Ricci mini. Besides nudes and blushes, red was a prominent color tonight.

Besides nudes and blushes, red was a prominent color tonight. And good thing because these red-hot ladies brought major fire to the carpet. Edie Falco opted for a one-shoulder Valentino number, January Jones went va-va-voom in Versace, Sofia Vergara looked sexy bold in Vera Wang, and Christina Hendricks worked some major ruffles in Romona Keveza. They're all scorching, but which lady in red is most Fab?

Small screen stars came out in force last night for the NYC premiere of HBO's Boardwalk Empire.

Small screen stars came out in force last night for the NYC premiere of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. The show ranked among our five must-watch Fall series, and we're loving the eye candy to be shown on Sunday's debut episode. True Blood's Joe Manganiello showed some love for HBO during a break from his Fashion Week rounds with the girlfriend he's so fond of, and we grabbed a minute at a recent Alice + Olivia party to get the scoop on his next season. The Entourage crew was well represented with Adrian Grenier and Mark Wahlberg, who's front and center in the new trailer for The Fighter. Mark also stole a minute to catch up with Diddy. Steve Buscemi was the star of the evening, but he still managed to greet his old Sopranos costars James Gandolfini, Edie Falco, and Lorraine Bracco. Mick Jagger even made a cameo with his lady friend L'Wren Scott, while over in London, his bandmate Keith Richards grabbed a meal with Johnny Depp.

The action in LA moved last night from the stage at the Emmys on to the press room, where the big winners showed off their new gold.

The action in LA moved last night from the stage at the Emmys on to the press room, where the big winners showed off their new gold. Humanitarian honoree George Clooney led the pack by speaking about Brad Pitt's equally good deeds, and Tom Hanks toasted his HBO miniseries The Pacific. Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, meanwhile, had dual wins for Breaking Bad. An excited Aaron gushed about the surprise, saying he lost his mind due to the shock. Nurse Jackie's Edie Falco, who was declared Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, still maintained that she's not even funny. The ensemble cast of Mad Men was led by January Jones, the adorable young actress Kiernan Shipka, Christina Hendricks, and Elisabeth Moss. Their series's creator, Matthew Weiner, said a few words and assured fans their show isn't going anywhere just yet.

Eric Stonestreet celebrated with the Modern Family gang and commented that it won't be weird on set after he picked up a Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy nod over two of his costars. Claire Danes was solo on stage to gush about her win for Temple Grandin. The stars were soon off to make the afterparty rounds, so stay tuned to get the inside scoop from across Hollywood! Also, make sure to check in on the evening's best beauty and fashion looks with Bella and Fab's love it or hate it polls.

Emmy Press Room: Edie Falco Still Thinks She's Not Funny

Edie Falco mentioned in her speech for best lead actress in a comedy series that she doesn't think she's funny, and she echoed that sentiment when she made her way back to the press room.

Edie Falco mentioned in her speech for best lead actress in a comedy series that she doesn't think she's funny, and she echoed that sentiment when she made her way back to the press room. Here are more highlights from the Nurse Jackie star:

Do you really think you aren't funny?
Edie Falco: As soon as someone calls you funny, you're not funny anymore. It becomes something you're aware of. I never really thought of myself as funny, no.

Will Jackie ever see the light?
EF: I don't know. I have no idea. And the writers keep wanting to give me hints but frankly I don't want to know until we start shooting it. It could go either way.

How is it different to win for Nurse Jackie than when you won for The Sopranos?
EF: I won in a drama for a show that was funny but it was pretty serious the stuff that we dealt with. This comedy world is completely new terrain for me. Tina Fey? It's utterly ridiculous. I'm just happy to be here.

Were you really shocked even though you were the favorite?
EF: Who said I was a favorite to win? I stay out of all that stuff. All I know is that I was nominated in a comedy series and I laughed my head off because I thought that was funny. The women I was up against are hysterically funny, talented comediennes. I'm not playing coy here, I was actually shocked.

How will you celebrate?
EF: I hadn't planned on celebrating. I had planned on going home and ordering room service, so I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Which character are you more like: Carmela Soprano or Jackie?
EF: I think I kind of fall right about in the middle of the two of them. There are things that are similar to both. But I do kind of like the low maintenance aspect of my present character. In that way we are similar.
