ELIZABETH BANKS: "I play Effie Trinket in the Hunger Games, it'll be out in March . . . " Elizabeth Banks can't escape The Hunger Games! The actress stepped out at last night's New York premiere for Man on a Ledge, but once on the carpet, conversation quickly turned to Elizabeth's other big project. And according to her, fans are going to be pleased with the final results. ELIZABETH BANKS: "If you were a fan of the Hunger Games, we are very truthful, it's a very truthful adaptation. Suzanne Collins who is the author of the books blessed the whole process and was there making decisions, so I think the fans will be really happy." EFFIE: Welcome, welcome, the time has come to select one courageous young man and woman . . . Elizabeth of course plays Effie Trinket in the film, a woman with one very wild wardrobe who escorts Katniss and Peeta to the games at the Capitol. The Hunger Games comes out on March 23, but in the meantime, fans can hopefully find a little something to tide them over. Lionsgate released this new poster for the film, featuring Katniss aiming her famous bow and arrow, just yesterday.
