Watch to hear her cute retelling of their first meeting, where she thought, "Oh, my god — she's touching me!"

Elle Fanning wore Dolce & Gabbana to join Christina Hendricks at a screening of their movie Ginger & Rosa at The Paley Center in LA last night. Christina also opted for a long dress, and apparently she and Elle have a similar taste in clothes. Elle told us she and Christina bonded over shopping, saying, "She loves vintage just like me. We share the love of that — she looks amazing."
Elle also had kind words for her costar in another project, Maleficent, Angelina Jolie. Elle admitted to being nervous when she first met Angelina. She told us last night, "I remember going into Pinewood Studios and turning the corner in London, seeing her for the first time and thinking, 'There she is!' And she immediately just gave me a huge hug. And she said, 'We're going to have so much fun working together!' From that moment I was like, 'Oh my God — she's touching me!'" Angelina and Elle won't be on the big screen together until 2014, but Elle's Ginger & Rosa is in select theaters now.

From stripes to leopard to florals, prints are hugely popular among celebrity trendsetters, and the latest to make its mark on Hollywood is camouflage. Hilary Duff donned sleek camo J Brand denim leggings with army green Brian Atwood pumps in Miami, Elle Fanning enjoyed a night out in London in a cool camouflage jacket, and Miranda Cosgrove went glam in a sequin camouflage Cut 25 minidress with lace-up Giuseppe Zanotti boots at a movie premiere in London. This isn't the first time this tough print has popped up on our radar, but it's having a major moment in the spotlight right now. It's the perfect time to incorporate a few of these celeb-approved pieces into your cool-weather looks, so shop our favorite camo-print picks to stand out this season.
Thanks to the annual BFI London Film Festival, we're turning our attention to the red carpets across the pond, where the likes of Parisian beauty Marion Cotillard and ingenue Elle Fanning are giving us twice the glamour to gush over. For their respective premieres, each of the actresses took a different approach. While Marion hit the red carpet with an understated albeit sexy Christian Dior LBD (straight from the Spring '13 runways, no less), Elle offered up a dose of sweet, girlie-inspired glamour in a full-length floral-print Rochas gown — just the kind we'd expect from the always-charming Elle, but maybe her best yet. Inside, we're giving you a glimpse of every angle. Click on to see both actresses' red-carpet ensembles in London — then tell us your pick for best dressed in comments.
It seems like just yesterday Elle Fanning was but a wee girl, but now she's running around London protesting nuclear war. Where does the time go? Elle is Ginger in Ginger & Rosa, half of a tight twosome growing up in London in the early '60s. Though they're intent on staying best friends forever, the tumultuous times pull them apart as Ginger grows increasingly concerned about the world's political climate and Rosa fails to show the same interest. Christina Hendricks stars as Ginger's mother, who is struggling with her daughter's resistance to hold onto her youth.
I'll be curious to see Hendricks outside of her Mad Men character, Joan, though it appears she just can't wriggle away from '60s couture. To me, this already feels like An Education meets Across the Universe (minus the Beatles tunes, of course). Ginger & Rosa doesn't yet have a release date, but you can watch the trailer when you read more.
There are platforms, then there are flatforms, and celebrities like Elle Fanning and Rihanna have been spotted pairing the funky shoe style with their warm-weather clothes. Elle sported a plaid dress with tan flatform sandals and red sunglasses on a sunny day in LA, while Rihanna wore her orange flatform espadrilles with a pineapple-print romper and a matching visor during her Italian getaway. While regular platforms give you height, flatforms give you that and a cool, off-kilter look. They come in many different styles — sandals, sneakers, espadrilles, etc. — so shop your favorites below to get Elle and Rihanna's looks.
Dakota Fanning has always had a great sense of style from an early age, as does her younger sister, Elle. We caught up with Dakota at Cosmo's Fun Fearless Female Awards in NYC last night, where she told us about influencing her sister's style and raiding each other's closets! Even though Dakota is older, she still gets Elle's input when putting together outfits. Watch our cute interview with Dakota in today's Fab Flash! On Allison McNamara: Millau jacket, Lia Sophia necklace.
