The ladies attended a party thrown by Target and Bevy Smith to honor Pharrell Williams, who proudly took a seat next to Charlize at the dinner table. The celebs gathered at the Chateau's Bungalow One to raise a glass in honor of Pharrell scoring the music for this year's Oscars with renowned composer Hans Zimmer. Cameron and Charlize made the rounds chatting with Usher, Johnny Knoxville, Jared Leto, and photographer Terry Richardson. Chelsea Handler even made a cameo with her possibly on-again boyfriend Andre Balazs, who happens to own the Chateau Marmont. Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery also mingled with Pharrell and friends, as did MOCA director Jeffrey Deitch.

Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl bundled up their daughters, Stella Ivery and Naleigh Kelley, and met for lunch at LA's Cliff's Edge restaurant on Saturday. It was a happy reunion for the former Grey's Anatomy costars, who are both balancing life in front of the cameras in addition to raising toddlers. It's been nearly two years since Katherine's departure from the doctor drama, and she's since gone on to star in several big-screen projects including her upcoming New Year's Eve. The film hits theaters Dec. 9, and, according to Katherine, her make-out scenes with Jon Bon Jovi were "nerve-wracking."

Meanwhile, Ellen and the surgeons at Seattle Grace are up to their elbows with trauma. Grey's Anatomy is back tonight, and we've got a taste of what we can expect from the two-hour season premiere. We've already learned that Meredith will be getting fired, but, thankfully, she's not quitting motherhood — both Mere and Der are looking pretty sweet playing with their new daughter, Zola. It also looks like Karev's having some trouble getting back in good graces with Cristina and Meredith, and Teddy's ready to show off her new relationship with Henry to everyone at the hospital (yay!). Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey shared a meal together last night at Dan Tana's in LA. It's been a few months since the pair filmed their Grey's Anatomy season seven finale, and, during the hiatus, Patrick kept busy racing cars and promoting Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Ellen, meanwhile, has had an active Summer of hanging out with her family on both the East and West Coasts. Ellen and Patrick's doctor drama returns with a two-hour special on Sept. 22, though there were rumors he might not return after a misconstrued quote in Italy's Vanity Fair. The magazine insinuated that Patrick may leave the show at the end of the eighth season, and Patrick cleared things up during a recent sit-down with David Letterman. Patrick said fans shouldn't be "too worried" about McDreamy's future since they're just doing contract renegotiations.

Hollywood's up-and-coming talent came together Friday night at LA's Club Nokia for the 13th annual Young Hollywood Awards. The new face of Miu Miu, Hailee Steinfeld, stepped out in a black and white ensemble from the brand to accept the breakthrough of the year honor from her True Grit costar Jeff Bridges. More statues went out to Style Icon Camilla Belle, in a Tom Ford suit, and Star of Tomorrow Armie Hammer, who caught up with his hilarious Parks and Recreation star pal Aziz Ansari. Camilla stuck close by her supposed real-life leading man, Topher Grace. Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams was crowned TV actor of the year, while Elle Fanning had her Somewhere director Sofia Coppola's dad, Francis, on hand to witness her film actress of the year honor. Garrett Hedlund had Midnight in Paris star Michael Sheen on hand to pass on the film actor of the year distinction, and the awardees kept the good times rolling afterward with a party. The whole show airs Thursday night on the ION channel.
