We always look forward to a red carpet appearance from Emma Stone. She continues to push the envelope with her style, and this time she offered inspiration on how to make our cocktail dresses more casual — by layering a simple tee underneath! Emma stepped out in Lanvin for the NY premiere of The Croods, where she was joined by her costars and Blake Lively, who was in attendance to support her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Watch on for the scoop! On Allison McNamara: Club Monaco blazer and top.
The Croods cast just kicked off their promotional tour, and so far, it's looking like a stylish one thanks to Emma Stone and an appearance from Blake Lively. Emma hit the red carpet in NYC wearing a strapless black dress from Lanvin's Pre-Fall 2013 collection. We love how the oversize bow detail adds a whimsical touch to her look — she earned extra points for styling her dress with a chic white tee and floral statement necklace. Meanwhile, Blake showed support for Ryan Reynolds in a futuristic, formfitting burgundy dress — fresh off Marios Schwab’s Fall 2013 runway — featuring a structured plastic bodice. For her finishing touch, Lively accessorized with a pair of bright white Bottega Veneta pumps and a loose ponytail. Now, it's your turn to weigh in: out of the two stunning, leg-baring looks, which blond beauty gets your best-dressed vote?
Blake Lively hit the red carpet this afternoon in NYC at the premiere of husband Ryan Reynolds's new movie, The Croods. Wearing a minidress from Marios Schwab, Blake kept her distance from Ryan in front of photographers. He did, however, cozy up to his costar Emma Stone and even Blake's sister Robyn.
Emma and Ryan also had the company of another Croods star, Nicolas Cage, who brought his wife, Alice Kim. Nicolas, Emma, and Ryan have been busy this week, talking about their animated picture, which is out Friday, March 22. Press duties took Emma and Ryan to London before they returned to the Big Apple, where Blake was conveniently based last week doing interviews of her own on behalf of Gucci.
Taylor Kitsch, Harrison Ford, and Emma Stone are just a handful of the many stars who have already been confirmed for major upcoming films this week. Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds stopped by the Today show in NYC this morning to promote their new animated film, The Croods. The duo answered questions about voicing an animated film and joked about the accessories and attitudes of their Stone Age characters. Emma joked that the girl she plays, Eep, is obsessed with shoes just like most other women, and Ryan quipped about his character Guy's interest in a fanny pack. Doing voice work, though, suited Ryan just fine. He said, "What other kind of showbiz job do you get to roll out of bed in a muumuu and a scrunchie and jump in a booth and just have fun?"
Emma is putting in time to promote The Croods after a busy week of shooting The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with her boyfriend and costar, Andrew Garfield. Ryan and Emma will have a bit more work to do together before The Croods hits theaters March 27.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield grabbed lunch together in chilly NYC on Saturday. Emma paired her gray Canada Goose parka with beige Isabel Marant booties while Andrew wore colorful green jeans and carried a bag of food from Bubby's restaurant. The couple have been keeping busy over the past week as filming for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has picked up in NYC. Emma and Andrew shot scenes late into the night on Friday before their Saturday afternoon lunch date. Emma is reprising her role as Spider-Man's first love, Gwen Stacy, but she'll have competition in the new film since Shailene Woodley has been cast as Mary Jane, Spider-Man's more famous girlfriend.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield reported to the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 last night. The costars and real-life couple shot scenes in the dark and cuddled up in between takes. Emma joined Andrew in front of the cameras after he'd spent much of the week working on the film with another leading lady, Shailene Woodley. She's just one of the new cast members of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which will also include Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti. Andrew had a break from his Spidey suit on Thursday, when he and Emma grabbed breakfast together in the Big Apple.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone left a breakfast joint in the West Village this morning holding hands. Emma and Andrew both wore coats and hats for the outing and seemed to be in good spirits as they smiled and waved. The meal was a break for Andrew, who has been filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 all week. Andrew spent time yesterday on set doing a few stretches to warm up, and earlier this week he was back in his Spidey-suit hanging upside down. His new castmate, Shailene Woodley, also joined him on set for several scenes. Shailene will take on the role of Mary Jane Watson, while Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti are also signing on for the sequel. Andrew's on and off-screen love, Emma Stone, will return as Gwen Stacy.
