7Dear Summit, Your ad is misleading and oversimplifies this story. Dont try to sell this movie as a romance. It is not. Next T.V. spot should focus on the family drama, or you might not get as many casual viewers. Dont rely solely on Rob's twilight fanbase to sell it. Get the ads going during Lost- to get Emilie's fans to see it too.

11The ONLY way they'll get me to watch this lame movie is if a Eclipse trailer. Like it or not Summit is only promoting this movie and not giving us any Eclipse stuff so it doesn't eclipse this movie. I'm tired of waiting for a trailer ! And this movie will only make money because of Twilight fans.

14refuse to see this movie in theaters will wait for the dvd instead. it is only acting but what a disrespect to your true girlfriend kristen. she probably doesn't care but this actually makes me wanna puke and this trailor left a bad taste before new moon. these scenes didn't need to be done this way you don't see these type of scenes in kristens movies they are done with class and dignity but not rob and whats his current role bel ami someone who sleeps around a womanizer what a way to keep the personification of a sex symbol going. should be more of a role model rob and pick more wholesome characters to play. the acting looks good but not the racy scences won't see this because of them. just an opinion. we each are entitled to our own oh and edr has to go will never be as beautiful as kristen.

#15, Kristen plays a stripper in WTTR. What are you talking about? And who cares? Both should do the films they want to do. You don't know what you're talking about. Bel Ami is a classic novel. And if you expect Rob to only play romantic parts with Kristen Stewart, you're delusional. He's an actor who will play many parts with many other women. Get over it. Jeez.

24we are aware of the roles that kristen plays - stipper, makes out with dakota, cake eaters but scenes are not nearly as racy, steamy and hard to stomach like robs thats the difference. who ever anyone will come here and comment when ever they want to. Its simply ones opinon other than yours thats it it is a free country you don't have to like anything. many will see this movie many will not so what go ahead watch the movie and see what you think after. his acting is the only thing that looks good.

I love Rob but totally hate the direction Summit is going. They really need to promote the story of the movie - not Rob as a brand. Non-twilight fans will have a laugh at this. (I'm gonna have trouble finding people to watch with...sigh~) It's hard to describe what's the movie about in 30 sec without giving it away but the trailer is way too misleading.
32OK, I just came here to see the TV spot and was going to read the comments but I had to comment when I read a few of them. Are some of you guys insane?? The ONLY reason this movie will get watched is because of Twilight fans and Emilie has NO fan base?? I didn’t even know what the hell Twilight was until all this hype started last year and I hate to inform you the whole world does not revolve around it, Em is a good actress, they have chemistry in these scenes and the movie will be good despite whatever it is some of you so called fans expect. Wishing her dead or whatever it is you all wanted several months ago will not stop this film from happening and from people enjoying it even though KStew is not present. Next there is this whole Rob should take more respectful roles to Kristen and she would never play these? Have you forgotten she is currently playing a pole dancer prostitute? I think that puts her right on par with Robs upcoming performance in Bel Ami and you need to remember this is his JOB. One reason they might not admit to being a couple is probably to avoid crap like this, judgmental ideas about what roles they should or shouldn’t play out of loyalty to one another. He is not starring in porn, Jesus, it is an R rated movie and I myself think the role is a perfect breakout role to show he is not just a sappy love character; he gets to play kind of a dick and womanizer...y’know the bad guy. I would also love it if he could play someone who is really ugly and just had to be judged on his tremendous acting skills in an upcoming film so that maybe people would take him seriously. It is people like you that can’t fathom him “cheating” on Kristen with his roles that diminish his capabilities as an actor. They are not attached at the hip and they ARE separate entities. Rob and Sten need to be two separate working people or there will be no career after Twilight because no one but Twihards give a crap about Robsten.

35um no one wants Rob to fail hello least of all Kristen we don't know her but I'm sure she could care less. He has a long way to go to prove himself as an actor. Pehaps what the others are trying to say is that we could have done with out the gross steamy stuff. There is some truth to what others are saying. Yes remember this is acting but think about it they are people. You are and I are people individuals how would it look to you personally would you like your significant other shown being this way with anyone else it doesn't matter who would you like to see this type action and remind yourself tell yourself its only acting. Just something to consider another point of view.

I see its became Robs fans vs Kristens fans.They are actors.They take roles. They make movies. But with movies goes also marketing. I think the most annoying thing is that they are selling this movie as an epic,raunchy romance and pushing Rob the hair-porn,panties-moistener and ruler of the Unicorn Forest with a new leading lady HARD. There is nothing wrong with intoducing a new good onscreen couple but this movie is more of a family drama with academy award nominee Lena Olin and I didnt see her in either the trailer or this clip. Academy Award winner Chris Cooper and Pierce are also criminally underused. Building cred is one thing, questionable marketing another.
And Kristens fans you dont have to defend her. She can take care of herself.
