Faith Hill and Tim McGraw took the stage for the opening weekend of their new Soul2Soul series at The Venetian on Saturday. They sang hits like "Breathe" and "Live Like You Were Dying," and also teamed up for the popular "It's Your Love." The couple took a break from belting out their favorites to sit down and chat with the crowd in an intimate conversation. Tim and Faith will continue to perform with a string of shows that goes through April of next year, and their first few proved to be successful. Faith tweeted, "The first weekend at Venetian is over. Great time. Making some lasting memories here, that is for sure! Thank you," while Tim added, "Now that was fun...crowds were awesome tonight."

Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood shined on the Country Music Association Awards red carpet, then headed inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to honor the genre's best music of the year. Carrie shared hosting honors with Brad Paisley, and the duo ran a joke-filled show that even included a "Gangnam Style" spoof. Neither Carrie nor Taylor ended up taking home a prize, but both took the stage to perform. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Nashville's Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere were on hand, too.

Many stars were thrilled with their victories. Miranda Lambert got emotional when she and husband Blake Shelton won song of the year for their duet, "Over You." Blake was the evening's biggest winner with a total of three new statues, and was also crowned entertainer of the year.

The pretty young blondes reigned supreme on the CMA Awards red carpet in Nashville, TN, on Thursday night. Taylor Swift was stunning in her Jenny Packham gown, which featured highlights of red — perhaps an homage to her new album, Red, which is demolishing records on the charts. Carrie Underwood, who hosted the show alongside Brad Paisley, brought her husband, Mike Fisher, as her date for the evening. Hayden Panettiere, who is part of the country music scene now thanks to her show, Nashville, opted for a sexy Georges Chakra Couture number that showed off some of her ink. Other arrivals highlights included Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Kellie Pickler's supershort hairdo, and Jennifer Nettles showing off her baby bump — check those all out in the gallery. We'll have more from inside the CMA Awards, including Carrie Underwood's jab at Taylor Swift's breakup with Conor Kennedy, so check back for all the action!

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill got together at the Venetian in Las Vegas yesterday. They showed sweet affection as they announced their plans for a limited run of Soul2Soul performances at the Sin City hotel that will start this December and run through April. Tim said of the 10-weekend commitment, "This show is all about us. We'll do a few of the songs that we have individually, but they'll be integrated with what we do together." Tim and Faith, who have been married for almost 16 years, went on tour together back in 2000 and again in 2006. Tim's currently on the road with his longtime friend Kenny Chesney, though, as the duo continues their travels for Brothers of the Sun.

Must Mimic! Faith Hill Displays a Fiery Look You Too Can Pull Off

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except when you look as gorgeous as Faith Hill did at a concert honoring Lionel Richie in Sin City.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except when you look as gorgeous as Faith Hill did at a concert honoring Lionel Richie in Sin City. The country star donned a fierce red jumpsuit with black single-strap Barbara Bui sandals and a few sparkling accessories — a double diamond necklace and chandelier earrings. Be color-brave like Faith and test-drive her monochromatic look via a red blouse and matching trousers for your next special event. You can even don a red tee with red jeans for a more casual approach to the singer's look. Or show off your feminine side in a crimson dress and edgy ankle booties. No matter which option you choose, go bold (red) or go home.

Reese Witherspoon was pretty in pink as she stepped on stage to present at last night's CMA Awards in Nashville. The movie star was in the company of country music's biggest names, which of course include Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. For the red carpet Taylor Swift wore a strapless J. Mendel, Carrie Underwood was in Reem Acra, and Ginnifer Goodwin was in Prabal Gurung. Taylor performed her new love song "Ours" during the show, and she also took home the biggest honor of the evening, Entertainer of the Year. Taylor also won that award in 2009, making her the second woman to earn it twice. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley played cohosts for the third year in a row and once again showed off their funny chemistry on stage.

Reese wasn't the only Oscar-winning actress in the house, since Nicole Kidman was there on the arm of her husband Keith Urban. Faith Hill hit the red carpet in a stunning white Chado Ralph Rucci gown with Tim McGraw by her side. Even Kellan Lutz came out to enjoy the festivities while out on his Breaking Dawn promotional tour. Check out lots of pictures from the night and see the full list of 2011 CMA Awards winners here!

Gwyneth Paltrow Shines Accepting Her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Gwyneth Paltrow broke out her Winter white this afternoon to unveil her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA.

Gwyneth Paltrow broke out her Winter white this afternoon to unveil her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA. Unlike recent honoree Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth didn't bring her kids, Apple and Moses, out for the event. Instead, the Country Strong star posed with costar Tim McGraw, pal Faith Hill, and a handful of other girlfriends. Gwyneth is out on the West Coast doing a press push for her new movie, which opens on Jan. 7, and spent the weekend at the junket with Tim, Leighton Meester, and Garrett Hedlund. Leighton managed to steal the headlines by announcing her intentions to leave Gossip Girl in 2012, but Gwyneth is renewing her commitment to the small screen. She just confirmed that she'll return to Glee in January but hopefully will avoid fueling any more drama with the Lohans.

Taylor Swift Named Songwriter of the Year in a Sexy LBD

Taylor Swift became the youngest winner ever of Songwriter of the Year at last night's BMI Awards in Nashville.

Taylor Swift became the youngest winner ever of Songwriter of the Year at last night's BMI Awards in Nashville. Taylor looked great in her Z Spoke by Zac Posen dress and got choked up on stage talking about a friend who recently passed away. She also took home Song of the Year for "You Belong With Me" making it quite the week for Taylor and that's before tonight's big CMAs where she's up for best Female Vocalist. Taylor just racked up even more nods with two People's Choice nominations, though she can't celebrate immediately with Jake Gyllenhaal who is off dodging questions about their relationship in London. Taylor will reportedly sing "Back to December" during this evening's show and Gwyneth Paltrow will perform her country single for the first time — does that encourage you to tune in? Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were also out yesterday after joining Gwyneth and Leighton Meester for Monday's Tennessee premiere of Country Strong. The whole group will be back together in a few short hours to celebrate what's touted as the genre's biggest event.
