First Look at the New Poster For Eclipse — Getting Excited For June 30 or Too Soon After New Moon Madness?

Today brought us a first look at the first poster for Eclipse before it hits the big screen on June 30! Pretty soon we'll see Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner everywhere in the run-up to its release, just as we did before New Moon. It doesn't feel like November was that long ago, when the second Twilight film came out, but nonetheless there are only two months to go until the whirlwind starts again. So tell us what you think about the new poster for Eclipse — does it make you excited for June 30 or is it too soon after New Moon madness?

I think it is done so on purpose, to continue with earlier movies. Imagine how nice the whole collection will look on a shelf in a year or too. LOL. I wish the press stopped harassing the actors in their perpetual search for gossips. I feel sorry for them as human beings. I love privacy more than I should.

"Eclipse is all about the love triangle, it's not about Bella's choice, it's about the possibility of loving two men at the same time..." I concede that. You are definitely right, but I just wish the poster were more artistic. It basically looks like the New Moon dvd cover.

I like the poster. Eclipse is all about the love triangle, it's not about Bella's choice, it's about the possibility of loving two men at the same time, so I think they've caught it right on the poster. Then I didn't like the brown colors in New Moon, I liked better the blue ones in Twilight & it seems that in Eclipse they're going back to it, so I love it!

Summit seems to see Eclipse as a love triangle more than the book indicated. Bella was always trying to make it crystal clear to Jacob that she loved him as a brother and a friend and loved Edward as a lover and boyfriend (someone she wanted to spent forever with) . It would be nice to see Edward and Bella in an embrace with Jacob looking on jealous.

Robert should be more prominent in the poster. The poster is boring and they "heightened" TL. lol

It looks like they recycled pictures from New Moon for this poster. Can't wait for Eclipse!!! Ha ha totally agree #10. #7 You need to catch the original Death at a Funeral (2007) which IMO is better than the American version.

Incidentally, you may have gathered I don't give a cr ap about the poster. Looks the same as all the others to me... the three main stars, standing there. Not exactly groundbreaking.

Eclipse was my fav. book. God I hope this director does not kill the Romance and chemistry like they did in New Moon. NM book was my least favorite book and the movie was disapointing. I just did not get Weitz's Edward and Bella at all. The scenes between them were so awkward and flat. The kissing scenes were soo blah. I would not hire him to do a romance that's for sure. I definitely recommend reading the books cause so far they're way better than the films. At least in Twilight Rob & Kristen had chemistry.

Very excited :) Not exactly counting down the days (although I do occasionally look down at my countdown widget -- generally I forget it's on my screen since I generally have something else up), but still excited.

So excited for Eclipse, cant wait for the movie. The poster LOVE IT, its great that Kristen is so surrounded with 2 gorgeous guys... Now if only will they start on Breaking Dawn.. as for I hope that will be great as well... Team Bella =)
