As much as they may try (I'm talking to you, moments like Uma -Oprah, Oprah - Uma) the Oscars aren't known for the hilarity, which is what makes this clip all the better. Not only do we have three funny men -- Will Ferrell, Jack Black, John C Reilly -- on the stage, but they're talking about how funny movies don't win Oscars. Plus, I'd be willing to bet this consistently makes the Best Oscars Moments list this year. Maybe there's hope for the acclaimed comedy after all?

I nearly had a coronary when Will Ferrell accidentally said "Jack Black" when John C. Reilly stood up. Sweet Lord, that was fantastic. "MARK WAHLBERG! WHERE ARE YOU? I'm actually not going to mess with you...you're pretty bad ass."

That was so funny! The Oscars were great. I never can sit through the whole thing & last night I did. I loved the dancers & Ellen & even that choir of sound effects. It was a pretty cool show.

So, so funny. And Helen Mirren looked like she was having a blast when they were singing to her, which is great. I have loved John C Reilly ever since Chicago (and Gangs of New York and The Hours, all of which were nominated for Best Picture the same year). So underrated, although I'm pretty positive he actually did get an Oscar nom for Chicago, which I'm surprised they didn't mention specifically.

kscincotta, I think that is what they were playing on, with his role in this. He was the one telling them to mix it up a little bit! See, and hopefully I'm not the only stoner here! Am I the only one that got that?...sorry just had to rub it in a little. :) Actually it's all the reggae I listen to, I can make out words to songs very easily, no matter how fast, on the first listen....lol. But I will do a spell check!

Jack Black and Will Ferrell bore me now. They're both one trick ponies. The best part of that was Helen Mirren. It's cool to see how much of a good sport she was about it.
