George Clooney was the king of the red carpet on Friday night, donning a tux at the BAFTA LA Jaguar Britannia Awards during LA's AFI Fest. Though he was dressed up for the festive event, George took on a more casual look earlier in the day when he stepped out for the premiere of August: Osage County. In true charismatic form, the actor was all smiles as he made his way down the red carpet, stopping to sign autographs and pose with Grant Heslov, a fellow producer on the film. George is back on the press trail after spending the past couple of months promoting the space drama Gravity alongside Sandra Bullock , as well as wrapping up production on The Monuments Men with Matt Damon .
In addition to his busy work schedule — he's currently filming the sci-fi flick Tomorrowland in Vancouver, Canada — George was recently given a big honor by a good friend. He was the recipient of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute's ambassador for humanity award last month, which was presented to him by Steven Spielberg . George mixed seriousness with silliness at the event as he mingled with Sandra Bullock and Jon Stewart and photobombed Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica.
