George Clooney and Rande Gerber Drink Up at Their Tequila Launch

George Clooney celebrated the launch of his new tequila, Casamigos, with his business partners during a tour of restaurants and bars in Florida yesterday. George and his partners Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman toasted their new liquor at Hakkasan in Miami's Fontainebleau hotel. The three men also held a party at Rocco's Tacos in Fort Lauderdale, FL, that same day. George and Rande have been friends for quite some time, and they even spent Thanksgiving together with their significant others in Cabo.

George has a busy week ahead of him. The actor will visit Las Vegas today to do more libation promotions before heading back to LA where he will prepare for the Golden Globes. The actor was announced as a Golden Globes presenter alongside other stars like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Garner.

I wish George was up for the nominations this year. I love when he campaigns for an Oscar, SAGs, etc. I know he doesn't like doing it. It's exhausting for him but he's so good at it! He's always got a perfect suit on and somehow figures out how to say something charming to the press. Oh, and his date is always fun to gossip about. Is that straight tequila on the rocks? Yikes! Too strong! I'm more of a beer and wine gal.
