Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. George Clooney took home the top acting honor at the 2012 Critics' Choice Awards. Go inside his night with girlfriend Stacy Keibler and best bud Brad Pitt in PopSugar Rush.
Award show veteran George Clooney christened another red carpet with girlfriend Stacy Keibler at Thursday's Critics' Choice Awards in LA. While speaking with VH1, the network that aired the show, The Descendants star stood on his tippy toes to reach the height of his date and joked he'd have to start wearing high heels.
"we're running late"
On their way inside, the popular duo found time to chat with as many members of the press as possible, with George giving credit to the critics, who nominated him for Best Actor this year.
"When they're nice they're nice, they've been very nice to me over the years."
The critics were indeed nice to Mr. Clooney — he was chosen to win Best Actor, besting his buddy Brad Pitt, who sweetly blew a kiss and gave him a hug after George planted a kiss on Stacy's cheek.
"I have to say that I am very proud to be in this film./and I'm very proud to get this award."
But George didn't just receive an honor, he also gave one to Sean Penn.
Earlier in the day, George was all suited up at a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for producer John Wells, where he delivered an equally sincere and silly speech.
"I don't want to say too much but, former two-time sexiest man alive."
George is surely making the Hollywood rounds this award season. He's got another shot at taking home a best actor trophy at the Golden Globes on Sunday and at the Screen Actors Guild awards, which take place at the end of this month.
