George Clooney stopped midride to get a little saucy with some pesky paparazzi yesterday afternoon. He was tooling around the winding Mullholland Drive above LA with Sarah when he got annoyed with the photographer's dangerous road antics and pulled over to chastise him. Check out the video here on TMZ, where George manages to keep his cool, get his point across about endangering everyone on the road, and sorry, sorry, look handsome while doing it. Considering George and Sarah's motorcycle accident at the end of September, it's no wonder why he's extra cautious. Plus, with that pretty face of his and his girlfriend on the back, he's got some precious cargo to take care of.
he is such a class act..good for him
1He loves the attention
2Not a bad thing, seeing how famous he is!
I saw the footage last night, when he stopped and scolded the paparazzo. It's so weird..I notice how similar my hubby is with him...the way they talk anyway. Yikes. Kind of creeping me out.
3hi-5 to George!!! He did not yelled, he was not a jerk... THATS THE WAY TO GO!
4I used to think he was attractive... now he just bores me to tears. He's always been a terrible actor, too. I mean, c'mon, the guy's got only one "emotive" face. Boring!!
5He's got to be scared sh*tless now when they hound him on his bike!!!! Like he said he's gone down before and never wants to get dumped again! I honestly don't know how they function with the constant following and flashes going off in their faces! It would make me want to never leave my house!! I think he did it nicely when he was obviously pissed off! Oh MY George I Love Him So!!!!!
6Thing is, someone is going to get badly injured or killed being chased by paparazzi. I mean here in the States, as Princess Diana was killed in conjunction with extremely aggressive paparazzi on top of whatever else may have gone on that night.
It's dangerous enough riding a motorcycle and trying to be safe, much less with someone darting through traffic trying to make a picture. There are too many people on the road to be doing that, and it's time someone said something about it.
7So let me get this straight...
The paps are chasing George and putting him in mortal danger, so you post the pictures they took and a link to the video taken BY THE VERY PEOPLE who almost killed him. And they make their money, take a light verbal lashing and go home happy.
Lovely.
8I think he handled it very well considering how angry he was, but I agree that the paparazzi are completely out of control. I hate to think about what tragedy will have to strike before anything is done about it.
9Re: Safety-Man George: Isn't his helmet similar to what they don't recommend people wear because it provides little protection in a real crash? It looks too thin to provide decent protection.
10You tell 'em Georgie!
11that crap should be illegal.. people are always in danger.. just for a damn photo.
12"Plus, with that pretty face of his and his girlfriend on the back, he's got some precious cargo to take care of."
I just had to lol at that line. Pop, you really crack me up sometimes.
13hello eye candy!
14After his temper tantrum in front of Fabio, his stock has really plummetted.
Re: The Paps. Yeah, they are aggressive and they definitely should have WAY more respect when following their 'subjects' but, honestly, I don't think anyone on this site has a real right to criticize them, when almost all of the pictures here are taken by the paps. Also, celebrities need these guys, as much as they might HATE to admit it. And, one more thought: the Princess Diana accident was admittedly so sad and terrible...but, frankly, I think her death may have come at the hands of a drunk driver, more so than at the hands of the photographers. Don't get me wrong, they deserve some punishment, but there's got to be balance in responsibility.
15I just watched the video - I'm with George in the way he handled this regardless of how smug he can be.
16i totaly agree with george just look at what happened in 1998 with princess diana because of thoses foolish paparazzi he is trying to put end for whatis going on theire not to die another one else
