The Spice Girls musical playing in London's West End is called Viva Forever!, but its run will last only six months. It was confirmed today that Viva Forever! will close early in June, despite the best promotional efforts of Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham. Due to poor ticket sales and worse reviews, backers of the production say they could not make the financials work. In a statement the Girls expressed their own thoughts, saying, "Although Viva Forever won't continue in the West End, we are thrilled that the thousands of people who came to the show had as much fun as we did."

It was a Spice Girls reunion last night at their Viva Forever! premiere held at London's Piccadilly Theatre. Victoria Beckham was joined on the carpet by David, Romeo, Brookyn, and Cruz, while Harper skipped out on the celebration. Victoria was reportedly running a bit late and missed out on the opportunity to pose with her fellow Spice Girls, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Melanie Chisholm on the carpet but met up with them on stage to congratulate the performers afterward. Reviews of Viva Forever are rather brutal, but that didn't dampen the Girls' enthusiasm. It's been a few months since we've seen the group back together — the fab five famously closed out the Summer Olympics with a medley of their biggest hits.

The Beckhams are reportedly spending the holidays in England as David and Victoria continue house hunting overseas. It was another exciting year for the Beckhams, with Harper's first birthday and David's retirement from soccer ranking among their major milestones.

The five girls — Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton — reunited to sing the hit that made them famous, "Wannabe," as well as "Spice Up Your Life." We caught a glimpse of the Spice Girls rehearsing earlier this week, and they even polished off their moves with one last run-through this morning. For the big show, Victoria wore a dress from British designer Giles Deacon, and Geri even had a bit of Union Jack on her red mini.

It seems Victoria was excited to be back with her old bandmates, as she tweeted a couple picture of their preparations this afternoon. She also shared the quote, "Behind every success is effort, behind every effort is passion, behind every passion is someone with the courage to try." Mel B was also feeling the magnitude of the occasion. She tweeted, "What an amazing day today!" Emma, meanwhile, was in a girl power state of mind. She wrote, "It's all pink tonight, baby!"

It seems their portion of the show will have a very British theme, as the Girls were seen singing atop black cabs at the Ford factory in East London. Victoria will have a turn to participate in the Games after her husband helped kick things off in the opening ceremony. David drove a speedboat carrying the Olympic flame up to the East London site of the Games on Friday, July 27.

It was underwritten by the jewelry company Boodles and proceeds went to benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Lieutenant Dougie Dalzell Memorial Trust. Pippa and boyfriend Alex Loudon met up once inside, and were seen sharing a passionate kiss after the bash as they waited for their car at around 4:30 a.m.
