The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo New York Premiere

Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig are getting nothing but praise for their parts in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. We take you to the New York premiere of the film in today's PopSugar Rush! "I think she's unlike any character we've ever seen before and people can relate to her on many levels." Rooney Mara sang the praises of her Girl With the Dragon Tattoo character while at the New York premiere of the film Wednesday night, but it was Rooney herself who her costars spoke so highly about as they walked the red carpet. "I haven't seen the film yet but I've seen her work on the set and this will, this will definitely change her life radically." "She's amazing and she's got incredible grace and poise and I think is going to turn into a huge star." Rooney's star is most definitely on the rise. She went from playing a supporting role in last year's The Social Network to taking on leading lady Lisbeth Salander opposite Daniel Craig. "Daniel's doing double blockbuster duty between Michael Bloomquest and James Bond and it turns out the two characters have a little bit in common." "They're both very handsome!" "All I have to say is what I especially love about Daniel in this is that I really saw a lot of Daniel... when you see it you'll see so much of his humor come through and he's really terrific in it." "I just wanted to make him as real as possible." Rooney and Daniel's costar Christopher Plummer kept things real on his way into the premiere. Just hours after earning a Screen Actor's Guild award nod for his part in Beginners, he told reporters he wasn't clearing space for a trophy quite yet. "I don't celebrate things like that until they really happen." In the meantime, Rooney can celebrate her Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a drama for this film. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo comes out December 21st.
