Jenna Dewan Bares Her Baby Bump in Glamour

Jenna Dewan appears inside the new May 2013 issue of Glamour, which features Hayden Panettiere on the cover.

Jenna Dewan appears inside the new May 2013 issue of Glamour, which features Hayden Panettiere on the cover. Inside the edition, which is available digitally now and on newsstands tomorrow, April 9, Jenna spoke about her career and her marriage to Channing Tatum. Jenna and Channing are expecting their first child together this year, and she showed off her growing baby bump in the accompanying shots from photographer Pamela Hanson. Jenna spoke to a reporter from the magazine about prepping for motherhood and gave insight into how she and Channing make everything work as a team. Here are highlights from Jenna Dewan in Glamour:

  • On her marriage: "Most actors and actresses are consumed by careers and getting ahead. Channing and I are ambitious, but our relationship comes first. We take everything day by day, saying, 'OK, how can we make this work together?'"
  • On her body changing during pregnancy: "I thought my body was going to change so quickly with pregnancy that I'd freak out. But it was really gradual. There's a reason women are pregnant for nine months; by the end, you're ready to have this baby. Channing has been great. He takes the route of no confrontation, just support, saying things like, 'Do whatever you want! What do you want to eat? I'm going to leave it up to you.'"
  • On their parenting styles: "Who knows what kind of parents we'll be? We have two dogs, so we've had some practice! And as soon as this baby comes into the world, Channing and I will figure it out real fast."

Hayden Panettiere on Marrying Young and Having Kids With Wladimir Klitschko

Hayden Panettiere showed off her figure in a black Michael Kors swimsuit to pose for Glamour's May issue, which hits newsstands on April 9.

Hayden Panettiere showed off her figure in a black Michael Kors swimsuit to pose for Glamour's May issue, which hits newsstands on April 9. She has recently found herself in the spotlight, not only for her starring role as country music sensation Juliette Barnes on ABC's hit show Nashville, but also for new speculation surrounding her love life. Hayden recently rekindled her romance with boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko, whom she dated from 2009 to 2011, and rumors are swirling that the star is secretly engaged to the Ukrainian boxer. In the spread for the magazine, she opens up about possible future plans with Wladimir, and touches on the topics of staying grounded and marrying young. Here's more from Hayden Panettiere in Glamour:

  • On marrying young: "I don't really have a plan. I've lived a very big life, and I don't feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, 'Your life ends — you're never going to be able to do anything again!' And I’m like, 'What are you talking about?' Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life. I would sacrifice having more years of being wherever I want whenever I want for years with my kids."
  • On meeting her boyfriend, Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko: "Life is like a lunchroom at school. In this industry you've got little individual tables of actors, singers, rap stars, this, that, the other. But it's a big industry that also encompasses anyone in the public eye. An acquaintance of ours did a coffee-table book, and the proceeds went to genocide prevention. We met at the party for the launch of the book; we've been friends for five years — we've never not been close."
  • On if she could be with the father of her children now: "It wouldn't shock me!"

Kate Hudson Goes Topless and Talks Family in Glamour

Kate Hudson showed off her fit physique on the cover of Glamour's April issue, which hits newsstands on March 12.

Kate Hudson showed off her fit physique on the cover of Glamour's April issue, which hits newsstands on March 12. She showed skin inside the publication as well and shared that "dancing, Pilates, and running after Bing" keep her in shape. Kate talked more about her boys, who she's been traveling with lately, and explained the reasons behind her desire to act with director Mira Nair. Kate will be back on the big screen later this year in Mira's The Reluctant Fundamentalist, but first she'll release her capsule collection for Ann Taylor. Here's more from Kate Hudson in Glamour:

  • On what she's reluctant about: "Not much! If I think about my life, I'm not reluctant about taking chances. I'm definitely not reluctant about relationships."
  • On her sons: "He's [Bingham's] sprinting! And he's got a natural mullet, which I'm cutting soon. It's growing only in the back, so we in the family say he takes after my Gogie — you know, Kurt [Russell] — because Kurt was a mullet guy in the eighties. Bing's been singing too. He loves music. And Ryder is the coolest cat — an amazing big brother, so patient and tolerant. Bing pulls his hair, and Ryder just laughs. He's such a good person. I couldn't be a prouder mommy."
  • On choosing to act: "There's a misconception that if you come from famous parents, you're seeking fame for the sake of fame. I see it as the opposite: Growing up with parents who were in the spotlight — it was almost like, Wow, if I didn't love to create characters, I would run as far away from fame as I could get. But I love performing."

The New Girl: Glamour Names Ying Chu Beauty Director

The great editor shakeup of 2012 is continuing right on into the New Year with a recent round of staff changes at Glamour.

The great editor shakeup of 2012 is continuing right on into the New Year with a recent round of staff changes at Glamour. The magazine has replaced its longtime beauty director Felicia Milewicz, who left in November, with Marie Claire's former beauty and health director Ying Chu.

Chu will serve as the magazine's executive beauty director, overseeing beauty content both in print and online. She'll work closely with editor in chief Cindi Leive. Chu will be replaced by Erin Flaherty, Marie Claire's current executive beauty editor.

"There is not a more exciting place to be, or a more inspirational editor to work with," said Chu, who starts her new job at the end of the month. "And I can't wait to engage with the Glamour audience!"

The new hire coincides with a round of promotions: Glamour's executive fashion director Anne Christensen is now creative director, fashion; and design director Geraldine Hessler's new title is creative director, design. Suzanne Donaldson, previously the magazine's photo director, is now its executive photo director.

The Glamour team is just one of many glossy magazine staffs that have been rocked by editors coming and going in the last several months. Last October, Glamour's senior beauty editor Elaine Welteroth left the magazine to replace Teen Vogue's outgoing beauty and health director Eva Chen.

Anne Hathaway Talks Her "Wonderful" Marriage and "Stressing" Over Weight

Anne Hathaway graces the cover of Glamour's January 2013 issue.

Anne Hathaway graces the cover of Glamour's January 2013 issue. She's kicking off the New Year by raising awareness for violence against women with One Billion Rising, a movement founded by Eve Ensler that aims to get one billion people out in the streets dancing on Feb. 14. While Anne's focused on her charitable work, she's also in the middle of a busy press tour for Les Misérables, which opens on Christmas Day. Anne talked to Eve about her involvement in the organization, her movie star status, and being a newlywed with husband Adam Shulman. Here's more from Anne Hathaway in Glamour:

    • On marriage: "It's wonderful. I feel like I've found my other half, and I'm so excited about getting to love him for the rest of our lives. I would never have gotten married if it weren't for him. You have to want to be married to someone. You have to feel that reciprocated. Marriage for marriage's sake doesn't make any sense to me, and I found someone with whom I could put my money where my mouth is, I guess. He's a good man. He's beyond intelligent. He loves fearlessly. His beliefs are beautiful. He's my best friend. I love him. I just feel that I have the greatest husband in the world for me."
    • On being happy: "There's no magic bullet; there's no pill that you take that makes everything great and makes you happy all the time. I'm letting go of those expectations, and that's opening me up to moments of transcendent bliss. But I still feel the stress over 'Am I thin enough? Am I too thin? Is my body the right shape?' There's an obsessive quality to it that I thought I would've grown out of by now. It's an ongoing source of shame for me."
    • On using her fame for good: "At this stage in my life — and this moment will not last forever — me walking my dog is news. And because I take very seriously the idea that I can make an impact in the world, I hold back my voice so I can make more of an impact when I do use it. A cause like One Billion Rising is something I want to scream about, and I want you to take that scream seriously because I don't fall out of nightclubs. I don't have photographers capture me spending untold amounts on a handbag. Of course, in the court of celebrity, if you try to be serious, you may look like a fool. In One Billion Rising you have activists and thinkers and 'celebrities.' But I'm an actress. The celebrity thing just happened."

Emma Watson Reveals Her Girl Crush in Glamour

Emma Watson is on the cover of Glamour's October issue, and inside the pages of the glossy, she tackles topics including dating in the spotlight and her love for Girls creator Lena Dunham.

Emma Watson is on the cover of Glamour's October issue, and inside the pages of the glossy, she tackles topics including dating in the spotlight and her love for Girls creator Lena Dunham. Emma, now 22, is looking to move past the Harry Potter series she's best known for by adding more grown-up roles to her repertoire. Following a part in last year's critically acclaimed My Week With Marilyn, Emma will star in the upcoming The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival later this week. Her issue of Glamour hits newsstands on Sept. 11, but in the meantime, here are some highlights:

    • On her love for Lena Dunham: "I am literally obsessed with Lena Dunham. She's, like, my favorite person in the world. I follow her on Twitter; I read her every day. And, yes, Girls is an example of something so refreshing because it feels real."
    • On why short hair suits her: ". . .If I had it my way, I would have just kept it short forever. Of course, men like long hair. There's no two ways about it. The majority of the boys around me were like, 'Why did you do that? That's such an error.' And I was like, 'Well, honestly, I don't really care what you think!'"
    • On The Perks of Being a Wallflower: "Making this movie was so pivotal for me because I realized I do really want to be an actress, which wasn't something I fully knew, since Harry Potter was such a singular experience. Obviously I'm nervous to see what other people think, but it kind of doesn't matter to me. It's so cheesy to say this, but it's the journey, not the end goal, that's important."
