Maggie and brother Jake did some shopping in NYC. I love that Jake looks like he has to keep up with his very pregnant sister. I love how tight these two are. It's going to be super cute seeing Jakey G holding that baby.

I'd rather not get fat anyway, not get stretch marks and not have to deal with the pain - if that makes me less of a woman, then ok... Pregnancy and babies just aren't for me.

we all have the right to our own opinion but wow! it's so sad the way people think sometimes =( babies r beautiful, giving life is amazing !! Faye...getting fat well it's all part of it ,just join a gym and eat healthy.a woman can get her figure back if she puts her mind to it and works at it.stretch marks , well true most women get them but thats just a little prize to pay for something so special that will 4ever change your life ..besides i've seen lots of women that aren't even mothers walking around with stretch marks. & well when it comes 2 the pain well ... "take it like a woman! "

Regarding the "gross" comment, I just think it's horrible that there's a little person inside of you, I couldn't deal with that, I'd freak if I felt someone kicking, I just don't see the beautiful nature of it. Not to mention getting fat, stretch marks and the pain! Sadly, my mother has been pregnant 3 times within 4 years, why does she do those things to me? :P

I hink people have their own opinions on this but there is nothing gross about pregnancy. I love looking at pregnant women. To me they look so darn cute, and I for one find the belly button mark uner the shirt quite cute not gross.

and that was the tame piece..there the performance piece where the same artist did this live performance where she was naked and ragging and she pulled a scroll slowly from up there and was reading it as she pulled and it had some list or story about being female experiences or some crap...and then being forced to analyze that from a serious artistic perspective..traumatizing i say! :-)

ok siouxsie, we so dont agree but i agree with u about the period blood but again thats not the point! Fine having a period is natural but nothing compare to the baby that grows when u conceive, u just cant compare the 2! Being pregnant is obvious to everyone at a certain stage and is there on display, but having a period is something u hide and noone knows any different, so making a art of it is stupid.

it's not gross yeah a little disconfort specialy in the last tages of pregnancy. i also think it depends on the woman , some look great when they r pregnant some just don't .

and when i say politically correct..im not talking about literal politics...im just saying people saying things a certain way not because they mean them but because they don't want to offend or appear insensitive.. for example...in the feminist art movement..there was a group of women artists who wanted to challenge the idea of menstruating being a negative thing. so they took it from negative to it being natural and ok (which most people would agree with) but surpassed that to try and make it appear beauiful because it was natural...so they would make art with menstrual blood..arguing that it was a life process and therefore beautiful. now ok..symbolically maybe...but a bunch of tissues on a wall with blobs of menstrual blood on them is NASTY not beautiful...

i have yet to meet a guy who finds random pregnant chicks hot. the ones i've met will say it generically..like yeah pregnant women are sexy but if you prod them and say so do you mean like pregnancy in general or just your wife or girlfriend or whatever and ive never had one NOT say something to the effect of oh..no it can't be hot if it's not your wife or your girlfriend or if it's not their kid... it's not a fetish..like some guys are into feet or girls with big hair..it's purely a sentimental thing...although i guess there could be a freak or two out there that i haven't met :-)

phew! being pregnant is not something to judge or compare or to even find sexy, thats up to the individual if they find pregnancy sexy, its just there and natural, it happens to women everyday all over the world. Its the meaning of life and of the human race! Its not meant to be anything else. Im not being objective either im being real

sexiness in terms of what we put on magazines..IS shallow.. when you get into it in any other form..its more of a personal thing...or symbolic or something that can't be measured in an objective manner...

i think anything that's beautiful is a SYMBOLIC beauty or sexiness..not the actual physical form...being bloated and swollen and fat..ive had pregnant friends..i know if you're prone to it..your body acne gets bad..its hard to shave...or tend to yourself in anyway..and i've polled guys..those who've had kids and those who haven't. the only ones who said it was clarified..only their wives when they were pregnant with their kids. so yeah..from a symbolic standpoint i understand...but from an aesthetic standpoint...not so much
