400+ guests congregated at Gwen Stefani's Beverly Hills home yesterday at a fundraising event for the Obama campaign. Gwen and some of her No Doubt bandmates hosted Michelle Obama, who mingled with stars like Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, and Alyson Hannigan. It was the first of two major West Coast fundraisers for Mrs. Obama, who is also expected to drop by The Tonight Show later today.

In addition to the first lady's visit, it was a busy weekend for Gwen and sons Kingston and Zuma Rossdale. Gwen stopped by a friend's for a visit on Friday, then dropped by a flea market on Saturday for a little shopping with the boys. While perusing through vintage furniture and clothing she picked up a red umbrella and then later headed to the beach for more fun with her favorite guys.

this wasn't the only fundraiser for Obama last week there was one in NYC on August 6th which Featured Joanne Woodward amongst others who I understand supporting democrats because she's been one her entire life because you basically have to be one to get hired in hollywood unless your someone like John Wayne or Jon Voight both were/are openly republicans
