Gwyneth Takes NYC With Apple and Moses as Chris Says Their Marriage Is Like "Winning the Lottery"

Gwyneth Paltrow spent the weekend in NYC with her children, Apple and Moses, wearing a white sweater to take them shopping for Halloween costumes on Saturday. She was in her workout clothes yesterday, though, when she brought the two youngsters to a park near their Big Apple home for an afternoon of running around. It seems the whole Paltrow-Martin clan is in the Big Apple, since Chris Martin was seen out to lunch with Jay-Z yesterday. Chris has been busy doing press for Coldplay's upcoming album Mylo Zyloto — Gwyneth actually just got her new copy of Coldplay's record! In a chat that aired on the CBS Sunday Morning show, Chris spoke about being married to Gwyneth. In a rare public comment, Chris said of his lack of serious relationships prior to Gwyneth, "It's a big leap? What, from being a loser to going out with an Oscar winner? . . . It's a giant leap. Let's face it: it's like winning the lottery."

Coldplay is one of the biggest bands in the world. Chris Martin has made buckets of money and his comment had nothing to do with Gwyneth's net worth. Maybe he just thinks his wife a fabulous wife, mom and homemaker. Coldplay has been famous and successful since 'Yellow'

I am sure by quoting the lottery, Chris Martin meant nothing to do with money---he doesn't seem the type. My daughter, this summer, after a month on her first job out of college, in her field and the perfect job, exclaimed "I feel like I've won the lottery!" And her euphoria had NOTHING to do with money---everything to do with the amazing job! Just as I think Chris Martin is expressing about his relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow, and his marriage. Good for them!

The quote from Chris is embarrassing. It's obvious her net worth is much bigger than his but "hitting the lottery" is a bit crude. Maybe he should get back to not talking to the press.

How ridiculous. Obviously Gwyneth is a wonderful mother and homemaker and a lot of people love her - she's got a lot of friends. I think she and Chris are in it for the long haul (which is Hollyweird is 20 years LOL)

I always imagine these kids (real beauties btw) being locked up ala Flowers in the Attic so as not to disturb mommy & her lavish house with playing and being omg - kids. lol..I imagine Chris being tucked up there too...lol dont eat the tarts!
