Robin Williams and Elijah Wood Getting Happy Again

Ready for some more Arctic cuteness?

Ready for some more Arctic cuteness? Good, because there's a sequel to animated penguin film Happy Feet on the way, with Robin Williams and Elijah Wood in talks to reprise their roles.

In Happy Feet 2, Williams will again voice Ramon and Lovelace, while Wood will voice main character Mumble. There aren't any script or plot details yet, but I can already envision Mumble and Gloria showing their baby penguins how to sing and dance. Hopefully, the sequel lives up to the original — the sweet film was not just a visual treat, it won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2006.

What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and Netflix) on Tuesdays.

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and Netflix) on Tuesdays. So each week in What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. This week brings us an exciting list of big titles, many of which got Oscar attention this year. In addition to these recommendations, check out Heath Ledger in the gritty drama Candy, as well as the gorgeous-looking Curse of the Golden Flower, which was up for Best Costumes.

Children of Men
Nominated for three Academy Awards, Children of Men is a frightening sci-fi tale of a not-so-distant future when women are unable to have babies, and humans everywhere, facing extinction, have turned to violence and warfare. Miraculously, one woman named Kee (Claire-Hope Ashitey) has managed to conceive and needs help from Theo (Clive Owen) to bring her — and the future of the race — safely to a science center named The Human Project. It's a chilling and dramatic piece of sci-fi that's a far cry from Jar Jar Binks. For more details, check out my full review.

Nicole Shares Her Happy Feet

Nicole recently made her first visit back to Australia to visit her family since her June wedding.

Nicole recently made her first visit back to Australia to visit her family since her June wedding. But just because she was on vacation doesn't mean she couldn't take some time out for others. While in her hometown, she shared her Christmas spirit with 400 patients at the Sydney Children's Hospital by paying for all the kids to attend a private screening of her animated film Happy Feet. Here's more:

"It's just lovely to be able to do something for the children," said Nicole. The 39-year-old actress, whose husband Keith Urban is undergoing rehab back in the US, added: "It puts life in perspective."

Nicole, who was accompanied to the special event by her daughter Isabella, has been catching up with her sister Antonia and parents during her low-key visit. And the Cold Mountain star took a trip down memory lane when she attended a matinee performance at her old acting school, the Australian Theatre For Young People.

She is also believed to have a meeting planned with famed Aussie director Baz Luhrman, to talk about their upcoming movie project The Australian, co-starring Hugh Jackman. Work commitments wrapped up, she's expected to fly back to her and Keith's marital home in Nashville, Tennessee, to spend Christmas with the country singer.

It sounds like Nicole is thinking of great ways to stay positive while Keith is finishing up rehab. It's good to know they'll be back together soon.

Brittany is still on her promotional world tour for Happy Feet which was number 2 at the box office this weekend in the USA, but number one in the UK. Brittany stopped off in Australia to shine her smile and talk about her co-star crushes. She admitted to having a crush on Robin Williams when she was a little girl. Here's more:

"I had a crush on Robin Williams when I was younger. I was fourteen and I was asked to nominate my Valentine crush when I was at school. "And it was between JOHNNY CARSON and Robin Williams - so I went for Williams because Carson was way too old for me. "Robin doesn't actually know. I don't know if I will tell him. I think he is so funny. And that's a huge attraction for a girl."

Wait - what? We do agree with being into funny guys, but this one is a little weird. More of Brittany looking cute on the blue carpet in her not so cute dress so read more
