Has Young Hollywood Hit an All Time Low?

Teen and twenty-something celebs have always had their run of the Hollywood scene but lately it seems like things are really getting out of control. Nicole was supposedly back in rehab last week, Paris might be going to jail...and over the holiday weekend things just got worse with Mischa's collapse and Lindsay's arrest for DUI and cocaine. In fact, it has been confirmed that Lindsay is definitely back in rehab for the second time this year. Compared to everyone else, Britney looks like she's really got it together. It seems as if times are changing since stars like Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow were the role models of today. So what do you think, has young Hollywood hit an all time low?

Sure Hollywood has always had its closets, its secret debauchery and pathology. But they enough sense to do it behind closed doors.And at least their weren't flashing their tw*ats around town repeatedly.Hey, we all party, get drunk, make mistakes, bad judgement calls. Do you see Avril Lavigne, Mandy Moore, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, et al ad nauseum do it in public?? So it's not about "how bad the paparazzi is today". These girls go out and get illegally stoned and drunk and get behind the wheels of their cars, pass out and puke in public places, and then say it's about the paprazzi. Show a little frikken personal responsability. I've gotten drink and puked in public before. Once. I learned my lesson. It's not that hard a lesson to learn.Britney is the mother of 2 and divorced. She is supposed to be an adult. Put on a bra, buy some pants and t-shirts and push a stroller every once and a while if you want to be taken seriously as an adult and responsible mother.

I think if I didn't have things like bills, school and work to keep me grounded, I would probably go nucking futs too! Just imagine having no worries and more than enough money to have everything you wanted! The world would look entirely different! Sometimes, I'm thankful that I'm a normal girl...

there are no more role models. they're just young girls who want to "live their lives" and unfortunately, the world is watching and other younger girls are just copying these people who don't want to be idolized. it's sad because they're apathetic of the influence they have, always relying on their excuse that they're young and want to have fun.

I really can not group Mischa with the rest, she had a mishap this weekend, but look who she was with. She can at least look classy at times.The rest are just useless, including Britney.

They have everything a person could want, and yet they are self-destructing. It's sad in a way... I almost feel sorry for them, but they make it incredibly hard. I think they all have serious problems with their self-esteem, and they just need real true friends.We need to see more of Rachel Bilson, Natalie Portman, Jessica Biel... and pray that Hayden Panettiere (sp?) follows these beautiful and talented actresses!

it's pretty bad cause none of them sre really that special. they're just skinny people who are usually reasonably attractive and have very little talent, if any. they are ,ostly pathetic and keep shoving their faces down the oress's throats when no one really cares about them anymore. and what with their problems? tehy have money. if i was given that much money iw ouldn't screw my life up like they do. i have honestly no sympathy for these people. they screwed up they're own lives, no one did it for them.

And cocca, being molested (IF THEY WERE, which I doubt) would be no excuse for Paris or Nicole's driving drunk, and Lindsay just being a complete waste.
