Is Heidi a Feminist Hero?

Heidi and Spencer seized a golden opportunity for another ridiculous photoshoot while having some Easter fun with Spencer's niece in LA yesterday. Despite the promos we've seen for the new season of The Hills, it's clear that these two are still together. Even so, things were rocky at the end of the last season after Heidi laid down the law with Spencer and they broke off their engagement. Today the New York Times ran an article praising Heidi for standing up to her controlling boyfriend, and even called her "a kind of feminist hero." So tell us — do you agree that Heidi is a feminist hero?

No, def NOT a feminist, considering that she has conformed to almost all of what Spencer wants. However, I think she is admirable for confronting Lauren when she feels like she didn't do it. Lauren is self-righteous and needs to learn to forgive. I can't stand Lauren, she needs to go away.

If she's a feminist hero, then I'm the queen of the sea. And great message US Weekly sends females by calling that a great makeover. She does not look great but I guess it's fitting that her appearance be as fake and artificial as she is. It also goes very well with their obviously fake photo ops.

They both suck at life. Gina Belafonte is another example of a piss poor writer looking to be shocking. She clearly has never meet a real woman or a real feminist. The NYT has really got to Sh*t. The stories they have had the gal to run this year makes me sick. What happened to good journalism? The NYT is becoming highbrow smut! I vow to never purchase another NYT paper again.

NO! The "engagement" probably wasn't even real anyway. I believe the two are dating but they are nowhere near marriage. If they do get married, it probably will be some Vegas thing.
