Heidi Klum Gets Wild in a Skimpy Bikini on the Beach
Heidi Klum showed off her fit physique in a printed bikini on Friday while vacationing with her family in Hawaii. The model stayed on shore, where she laid down a beach towel and worked on her tan. Heidi later covered her shoulders, made a few trips to her beach cooler, and stopped to chat with a lifeguard.
Heidi's Hawaiian getaway was not all smiles, though. On Easter Sunday she rescued her son Henry Samuel and two nannies, who were sucked into an ocean riptide. Despite the scary incident, Heidi and Henry returned to the beach on Monday with her boyfriend, Martin Kristen, but headed home soon after. Heidi and her clan landed safely at LAX last night.
Heidi Klum Returns to the Beach With Henry Following Drowning Scare
Heidi Klum and her boyfriend, Martin Kristen, took Heidi's son Henry Samuel to the beach in Oahu yesterday. The trio were back in the sand after a scary Easter Sunday, when Henry and two nannies were almost swept away by the ocean current. Everyone involved made it to shore safely and it looks like Henry was ready to test out his swimming skills again yesterday. He had help from Martin in the water while Heidi snapped pictures and cheered him on from dry land. Heidi and her family have been in Hawaii since last week, hitting the beach and soaking up the sun, and despite their near drowning experience, also celebrated Easter with an egg hunt. They've since wrapped up their vacation and arrived back in LA last night.
New App Lets You Call Out Companies For Sexist Ads
Commercials that sexualize women are nothing new, but the Miss Representation organization now offers a forum for people to call out the worst offenders. Just this week, a sneak peek of Heidi Klum's sexy Carl's Jr. and Hardee's ad showed her seducing a young man with a burger in a Mrs. Robinson-like role. It's this type of commercial that may find itself targeted on Miss Representation's #NotBuyingIt app, which is demoed in the video above. After using the hashtag #NotBuyingIt on Twitter to reject sexist ads, the organization behind the Miss Representation documentary has created an app to centralize all those complaints in one place. With a funding campaign in process, the app would allow users to upload sexist media, connect with supporters, and call out specific companies.
Heidi Klum on Her "Hard" Job on America's Got Talent and Her Stay-Fit Secrets

Heidi Klum on Her "Hard" New Role on America's Got Talent and Looking Cute at the Gym
Heidi Klum greeted fans today at Lady Foot Locker in Culver City, CA, where she unveiled her new collection of workout wear for New Balance. The supermodel mom is a fitness inspiration for many women, and she told us that she had both comfort and style in mind when designing the line. Heidi also told us that her motivation for the days when she doesn't feel like exercising is motherhood itself! We also chatted with her about her new job as a judge on America's Got Talent opposite Mel B., Howard Stern and Howie Mandel and heard about some of the strangest acts she's had to judge so far. Check out highlights from our chat:
- On her new job as a judge on America's Got Talent: "I have to say, last year I watched AGT from home, and I would be like, 'I don't know why this person is here. That person should not be here.' But when you are there and you see the people, it's a little different. I feel more for them and it's harder for me to push the "X" immediately. So I usually wait and let them do their thing. It's hard to go on stage."
- On how her kids motivate her to work out: "I have four children. I always have two dogs, and I live very close to a canyon. I take them for a hike. I don't necessarily have to time to get in the car, go to the gym, be there for an hour, get back in the car . . .But if I have an hour, the children and my dogs, we just go up the canyon. Or I have a trampoline in my backyard — I go and jump on that.
- On why she thinks looking good is important even mid-workout: "Wearing something cute, for me, gives me like an extra boost to go a little harder. If you're all schlumpy and you have oversize things on, or raggedy things that should be already in the bin, then you feel kind of sluggish."
