Heidi Montag has turned into a product of the media. She has gone SO far off her rocker that she actually defends her needs for plastic surgery. She has no idea of who she really is inside, because she has been brainwashed involuntarily by the standards of the 'celebrity image'. If she had never pursued this pathetic job she calls acting, what would she have done with her life? Who would she be? Would she have pursued meaningful things in life? I think by being cast into this realm of the 'celebrity' people lose their sense of self, and are puppets to the concepts of an audience or public eye. She is a TERRIBLE role model for young women all over America. What is she trying to say by doing this to her body? She believes she is fostering her self confidence by making herself the best she can be. But these concepts of 'the best you can be' are not true at all. If anything, she is blatantly expressing her own self-loathing, her lack of intelligence, any originality or real beauty. Sure, she may look like a barbie and have perfectly proportioned features, but THEY ARE NOT NATURAL. They are NOT her own. She is fake, and that makes her one million times less attractive than she was before. Being confident and beautiful means owning your own unique features. Being confident about your mind, and intelligence. There have been countless studies (as noted in the book, 'reviving Ophelia' by Mary Pipher, PHD) that women that rely on their exterior beauty-and who are generally more physically and stereotypically attractive- have lower self esteem, more divorces, are at a higher risk of suicide and depression and don't pursue academic careers. It is a catch 22 my friends, and we are now moving into an age where we are questioning these superficial values in our societies. I hope that people can look at Heidi Montag and learn how sad we have come as a country and species, and that we need to change our priorities as soon as possible- especially within the realm of the media and how it effects individuals such as women and young girls. Shame on you.

Seriously, Heidi? This is the biggest load of BS I've ever read, and quiet frankly, it burns my eyes. Welcome to the real world: you're an addict who's married to a jack ass and at the end of the day, you don't turn to your family or friends to improve your self-esteem, but your surgeon. Apart from her nose job she did it al wrong.I think it sick to do Plastic Surgery Makeover when you're 23.How stupid can you realy be to put a knife in a perfeact healty body, even a wonder-doctor can only make it worse...Fighting age this way and go to far is at least a attempt. i can't help but to feel sad over the fact that she feels this pressure to be "perfect" in her mind. but it's her body so she's free to do what she wants with it...

Ok. Im noone to judge.. That's not my place its god, the higher power. But I must say she was a beautiful women befor when I first seen her on the hills first season. She was very beautiful. Im not saying she's completly ugly now but all that wasn't neccesary she should have looked down deep inside herself and found that inter beauty then maybe she woulda been satisfied with her original self. Im afraid she going to look like cat women cause she said she's not done yet and that she's addicted. Smh. Oh well thats her.

I think she looks very pretty but it's so hard to genuinely mean that considering she's some plastic surgeon's piece of art and not a natural beauty (I thought she looked fine before).
HER BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS GETTING 10 SURGERIES AT ONCE. She could have done little ones over the years. When she is 40 what the heck is she going to look like?
