The night was full of big wins for plenty of fan favorites at the 2013 Critics' Choice Awards in LA on Thursday. Top winners included Ben Affleck, who won best director for Argo; Jennifer Lawrence, who picked up statues for best actress in a comedy and best actress in an action movie; and Anne Hathaway, who took home the best supporting actress honor for Les Misérables. Ben's Argo also won best picture, while Emily Blunt and Jopseh Gordon-Levitt supported Looper despite Skyfall beating it for best action film. Jessica Chastain, Daniel Day-Lewis, Bradley Cooper, and Judd Apatow also had big evenings at the event. Judd nabbed a genius award for his contributions to the world of comedy, which was presented to him by Rebel Wilson, who earned big laughs for her speech.
Other big moments included Quvenzhané Wallis flipping out her iPhone to read her speech when she took the stage to accept the award for best performance by a young actor or actress and Anne revealing that when she won best actress for Rachel Getting Married in 2009, they spelled her name wrong on the statue.
