Hilary and Lindsay Make Nice

Hilary Duff continues to express her new grown up image in her video for Stranger where she does some sexy belly-dancing! The more mature starlet is also making up with her teen rival, Lindsay Lohan. She said she ended her feud with LL. “Lindsay and I were out at the same place," Duff says, "and we were like, ‘Let’s get this out of the way.’ And she was really nice, and I was really nice... [I]t’s nice to be able to see Lindsay out and say hi, and not have this weird weirdness.” It's great to hear that both girls were on "nice" behavior, but it looks like she'll have to wait a while to reconnect more with Lindsay now that LL is in Promises for the time being.

I LIKE IT ACTUALLY, ITS FUNNY BECAUSE i DON'T REALLY LIKE HILLARY, THE ONLY THING IS THAT SHE LOOKS LIKE LINDSAY LOHAN A LITTLE. ITS GOOD THAT SHE TOOK BELLY DANCING LESSIONS NOW SHE CAN MOVE HER HIPS.

ugg. as a bellydancer... i like to see bellydancing mainstream... but... i like to see it done correctly. I don't like hillary duff doing it. It just spawns a bunch of girls who think they can bellydance cause they copy shakira (who is a great dancer don't get me wrong). I dunno. I don't like to see it as a trend.

i love hil! especially when shes just out and about, and how she always looks so put together and down to earth...but i was a bit disappointed with this video. i like her new sexy image, but this is too overt for her. shes always had an understated sexiness about her and the club scene did nothing for it. anyway, shes always said she wasnt much of a dancer so i guess it was good for a first try maybe?! haha i agree with you lot who say it was awkward looking...definitely

I like this song her new stuff seems to be very catchy, I was never a fan of her old music...she is a really pretty girl and I dont think she is trying to be overly sexy, just trying to convay the tone of the song...good for her

I always think that to look good dancing in front of the camera you really have to be a good dancer (and know it!), a consumate narcissist, or an incredible actor - otherwise you feel awkward and you look it. Even if Hilary's none of the above I can't say I hate her for it. And while not pure pop perfection, her new album has a catchiness to make it a hit. It also hints at the intellectual darkness of the singer (yeah, I never thought I'd say that but Hil isn't all roses and sunshine, and she seems to actually be capable of an original thought). I think, in the long run, she'll be the one to surprise everybody.
