On Wednesday night, Barbara Walters named Hillary Clinton the most fascinating person of 2013. Although this marks the first year in decades that neither Hillary nor Bill are holding a political office, that doesn't mean Hillary's been out of the spotlight. Since stepping down in February, the former secretary of state has entered the speaking circuit, making appearances across the country to raise awareness about human rights, women's equality, and more. She's popped up at major award ceremonies and charity events, and meanwhile, Hillary's also received a slew of awards, including the American Bar Association Medal and National Defense University Foundation's American Patriot Award. Now, to round out her 2013 accolades, she's also earned the most fascinating person title from Barbara Walters.

In her sit-down interview with Barbara, Hillary opened up about her big year, and she once again addressed the rumors she's been fielding since February: will she run for president in 2016? It's a fair question. There have been plenty of signs that Hillary will run in the next election, but she insists that she hasn't made any plans. "It's such a difficult decision," Hillary said, "and it's one that I am not going to rush into. I don't think that we should be looking at the next election. I think we should be looking at the work we have today." Her answer didn't quite clear things up, so Barbara asked her again, more directly, and Hillary laughed, saying, "I haven't made up my mind. I really have not. I will look carefully at what I think I can do and make that decision sometime next year."
