:Star: She was not only committed to her work, but she also knew that, along with work, it was a part of her job to be fit and look good. So, Marilyn devised her own workout plan.
Here is a snip-it of Marilyn's daily exercise regimen:
:star: She was far before her time and would get up early in the morning, around 6:00am, to go for a jog around her neighborhood blocks. She would also come home and use some dumbells to tone her arms, essentially Marilyn was weight lifting in the late 1940s early 1950s. Funny to think of huh?
Her main form of exercise was calisthenics, as she was shown doing during a photoshoot for Fotoplay magazine.
:star: That's it! Remember, you are only as young as you feel! So exercise the way that makes you feel good. If you don't like to run, just walk and stretch. OR dance and laugh. I like to take advice from the simpler times...they didn't have all of these gyms and clubs, AND supplements (of course they didn't live as long, but still!). Do what fulfills you--not what the "it" thing of the moment is or the many fad diets that come and go. I tend to think that if you do what you like, then it will become a thing you WANT to do rather than a chore that you HAVE to do.
 Have a happy and healthy weekend guys and dolls!
