Jennifer Lawrence says she feels like a Backstreet Boy! Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we're taking a look a Jennifer's latest interview and early box office numbers for The Hunger Games in PopSugar Rush. JENNIFER LAWRENCE: "Anything you say into the microphone just Whaaaa! Like no matter what, Whaaa! I felt like a Backstreet Boy." CHELSEA HANDLER: "Maybe you are a Backstreet Boy." JENNIFER LAWRENCE: "Maybe I am." Sounds like Jennifer Lawrence is still getting used to her Hunger Games fame. The actress stopped by Chelsea Lately last night to talk up the film and the huge fan mania surrounding it, which she says she can only compare to being in a boy band. Even though Jennifer has spoken about about her love for The Hunger Games series, she did recently admit to PopSugar Editor Lindsay Miller that having such a following feels like a lot of responsibility. LINDSAY MILLER: "What was the hardest part of playing Katniss for you?" JENNIFER LAWRENCE: "Probably just the pressure of the fans. It's not very often you have roles that are famous before you even get there." But it looks like Jennifer is doing just fine. She's been making the press rounds lately, popping everywhere from the Late Show With David Letterman to Good Morning America to Ryan Seacrest's radio show yesterday, and judging by early box office numbers all the hard work is definitely paying off. The Hunger Games opened in theaters this morning and crowds of fans lined up to be the first to catch the midnight showings. Our own FabSugar editors snapped this photo of the crazy lines outside of a theater in New York City's Union Square. The film reportedly raked in $19.7 million according to early estimates, which makes it the best midnight opening ever for a non-sequel and the seventh best midnight opening overall. We'll still have to wait to see if The Hunger Games can top Breaking Dawn Part 1's opening weekend numbers, but one thing is for sure — Jennifer Lawrence clearly has a hit on her hands.
